Wow another place I wish I lived closer to. Delicious banh mi (BBQ Pork is my favorite but know that it is pretty fatty), perfect bread, homemade pate and mayo. So good. You can also get bread loaves for 50 cents each. Definitely tempted to get some of the pate/mayo on my next run! There is a cash discount and a buy 2 get 1 free deal for the menu. Love! Would recommend to anyone. (Except maybe vegetarians.)

This place is a hidden gem in the DFW area for reasonable prices, high quality and amazing taste!

They often have a B2G1 free deal! I love their banh mi cha as it's a very nostalgic dish. The bread is crispy, light and fluffy on the inside. There's a perfect ratio of butter, pate and meat. The veggies are fresh and plentiful.

I couldn't ask for anything more and am glad to have found my fave banh mi shop!

Great casual spot to take out bánh mì! My favorite was the meatball, but the grilled chicken was a close second. Buy 2 get 1 free!

With Garland having a large Viet population, you know this is the place in Dallas to get some authentic bánh mì.

I was originally only planning to get one, but I couldn't resist the buy 2 get 1 deal! The employees were friendly and quickly whipped up my order.

Here are the three I got, in order of most to least favorite (although all delicious): meatball, grilled chicken, and rolled ham.

Definitely check it out if you're in the area and/or craving some bánh mì!

If you told me I would be craving a grilled chicken banh mi I would say you're crazy, but alas there I was going out of my way to get some. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love banh mi, but I usually get the dac biet aka thi nguoi aka cold cut meats or xiu mai aka meatballs and sometimes the thit nuong aka grilled pork. I was persuaded to try the grilled chicken which I already was bracing for dry, stringy meat. Not here! Even eaten the next day warmed up, it was deliciously flavorful and moist. The veggies are pretty standard, but I do like that they shred their pickled veggies. It's a small shop for pick up only. The sandwiches are packed with meat and quite filling. The ladies are pretty quick at assembling your order considering most people buy multiple sandwiches at a time. The bread is baked in house and while that's a plus, I can't say I'm the biggest fan. It had a nice texture but no distinct taste. I got one a plain one to snack on for the drive home. Overall it's a solid banh mi shop, but as for me I only go there for the chicken banh mi.

Quoc Bao is my all-time favorite place for banh mi sandwiches. Their bread is amazing, and I've loved it since I was a kid. The quality is always top-notch, especially my favorite, the chicken banh mi. Plus, they have a great deal: buy 2, get 1 free. I always tell everyone I know about this place because it's such a good value for the delicious food.

Still amazing! I got to have Quoc Bao banh mi twice in the past couple of weeks and my high opinion of this place has not changed at all.

When it comes to Banh Mi this shopping center has an embarrassment of riches. The sandwiches here are amazing! (I recommend the #4)

Another sketchy review. You really have to want to find this bakery. Chances are you will not happen upon it accidentally. Tucked into the back of a nondescript strip mall on a nondescript corner in a nondescript neighborhood of Garland, this joint isn't a hidden gem - it's a buried treasure worth searching for. This takeout only spot packs people in, most of whom are there for the bread and rolls. I went for the Banh Mi - specifically the roasted pork version, and was not disappointed. Plenty of tender pork, along with ample carrots, cilantro, jalapeños and a bit of pâté were tucked inside the crusty, yet soft and chewy roll. Outstanding! There is no place to eat inside, so be prepared to eat it in your car or risk temptation and suffer the ride to your dining destination. Do yourself a favor and search this place out!

My current record is demolishing 2 #12s in 15 minutes. Working my way up to knocking out a triple.
Call in 20 min ahead and buy 2 get one. Pate is a must.

Got this steering wheel tray for the sole purpose of getting down on #12s from QB
