I hadn't even been there yet, but have had many conversations with their staff about my trip and reservations (and many questions and changes by me) and they have been super friendly and professional.
I am super excited for the red course!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Molly F.Oakland, CA02Feb 25, 2024
I applaud the Ranch's focus on clay targets. However, it is extremely disturbing that there was an "invitation-only" pigeon shoot this weekend, focusing on thousands of living birds. What is the purpose of this? So traumatic for gentle creatures. May we all wake up to their experience and take action in line with how we would want to be treated.

Thought Quail Creek Plantation would be a great place for me and my Service Dog to relax with friends. Started out great until the Lodge Manager directed the server to sit me and service dog out on the back porch because he said dogs aren't welcome in the dining area and guest don't want to eat with dog's.
I let him know that she is a Service Dog and was allowed to go anywhere I was going. Cinna was perfect laying under the table and didn't make a sound while we ate breakfast. For the Lodge Manager I would give Quail Creek Plantation a ZERO, but the rest of the facility was outstanding.
Have many other options for Sporting Clay shooting in South Florida, then to be treated badly. I will be going to places that understand the Laws concerning Service Dogs and their importance to their handlers.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jasmin C.FL, FL01Jul 10, 2022
I went here and the customer service was awful! The man was extremely rude and made me feel like my choice of food was not good. He judged my preference and made me feel insecure. The food was great but a new worker is needed immediately.

Wow! Am so grateful for a place like this in Florida. Every single person I dealt with was polite, courteous, and just plain nice.
The two bedroom cabin is jaw dropping awesome for the price. The grounds are pristine and the serenity and safety make your stay so much easier. I don't understand the bad reviews since a business should Instill what ever policies they deem fit. As a consumer I have the option to go elsewhere. Nowadays everyone wants to "bend" the rules or "accommodate" them to their needs. I like a business that has policies in place that are fair to all!
The lodge itself is beautiful, they have catch and release fishing. The food is delicious, fresh and real good quality. You can buy drinks in the lodge and take them over to dining room. I heard you can also bring your own alcohol if you like.
My personal favorite was driving a mile west and enjoying their sporting clays course. This place is honestly second to none! Ever! Nice shop, suv golf carts for use in the course. They sell good quality ammo! I can't wait to go shooting over there again. Every single person there was extra nice!
Overall this is one of my favorite places in Florida! A real class act with a homie feel! Hunting possibilities during season, I already booked the quail.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Don P.North Palm Beach, FL052Jan 11, 2021
Best Sporting Clay facility I have shot at. People are super friendly and there to help with anything you need. This place is first class from top to bottom and it manicured always. I highly recommend if you are close make sure this is the Sporting Clay facility that you choose to shoot at. Best in Florida.

Went there for some shooting and it was great. People were so very friendly and accommodating and even though the parking lot was filling up fast, it never felt crowded.
After shooting, we had lunch, great burgers and chicken tenders.
The place is out of the way from the 192 area, but easy to get to.
If you want to shoot 5stand or course, this is the place to go. Be sure to check the site for what shot you can use, they sell shot there at a premium price of course.
I'm eager to get back and try out the lodging, restaurant and fishing when i can get back.
Overall, a nice place to visit, I look forward to heading back soon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Derek R.Las Vegas, NV071Mar 7, 2019
Very nice facilities. However, I was disappointed with the sporting clays, which is the main reason for going. The presentations were typical but the scenery and backdrop were so bad it ruined the experience of shooting. Every station was like a sand field covered in clays. Much better sporting clay ranges in the area.

Wow what a place!
I reluctantly type this review only because I don't want this secret hideaway to be revealed. This is a special place where old and I mean old Florida comes alive before your eyes.
I wanted to do something different for my birthday and I have been wanting to go here for awhile. The concept is simple, It's an hunting lodge with a sporting clay facility a mile up the street. They have one bedroom cabins to rent which look similar to the ones at Fort Wilderness in Disney. The log cabins have a seperate bedroom, ours had two twin beds, sleeper futon in living room and a loft that is great for kids (9 to older ages) to sleep in. They have a full frig, small stove, flat screen TV and free WIFI. It has a nice front porch to sit and relax and watch the world turn. The also have a cabin the houses 8 rooms with king-size beds. The entire facility is dog friendly.
They have a huge Hunting Lodge which also serves as a official meeting place of guests/hunters and also houses the dining room (see pics). This lodge has darts, a card table, pool table, a bar type shuffle board game (all free), a huge fireplace, and tons of mounted animals. There is a fire-pit right outside the side entrance (see pic) and on one night a family was cooking their own steaks over this pit. It was pretty cool to watch.
Talking about food, they have their own chefs and you pick your dinner from a set menu. On the first night we had rib eyes with mash potatoes, a vegetable medley served with a salad, garlic rolls, and for dessert a chocolate mousse. The second night we had Shrimp Scampi, Salmon with a dill butter and cheese burgers which my son said they were as good as Charm City. All of entries were served with a Cesar salad, sourdough rolls, mash potatoes, corn on the cob, and for dessert a creme brulle (see pics). Breakfast is all you can eat southern fare, eggs, bacon. sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy (best that I have had), cheese grits, Belgium waffles, juice, cereal, coffee, tea, hmmmmm did I leave anything out...lol. oh yeah toast, and english muffins All the food was excellent. The prices for breakfast run about 12 and change and dinner is 25 to 35 dollars depending on what you order. Gratuity is extra. Lunch is served at the Clay Shooting area and it costs around 7 and change. On the days we were there, they had burgers, hot-dogs, chicken salad sandwiches, BBQ beef brisket sandwiches, fries, and a watermelon salad. The brisket and the watermelon salad were pretty tasty.
Oh yeah, they don't serve alcohol at any of the facilities so it's BYOB and there is no corking fee. From what I hear a saloon maybe in the works:)
Now the skeet/clay shooting area is pretty interesting. They have two courses set up and you can rent shotguns and buy the ammo. They track how many clays you shoot by a key you insert at each station. 100 clays cost around 42 dollars. You can also rent a golf cart or just walk to each shooting station. I am the only person in my family that has ever shot a shotgun. To my surprise, my wife and daughter wanted to shoot so we rented two shotguns a 28 gage for the girls and 20 for me and my son. They hooked us up with a guide who explained the course, the rules, how to load and shoot the shotguns. He stayed with us for 3 shooting stations, there are 14, coaching my family and answering our questions. Everyone had a great time and we shot on both days.
Lastly, they have a swamp buggy tour that is complementary to guests. They take you on a tour of the plantation which is 4000 acres plus. I took two pics on the tour which reminded me of some of the old Florida pictures that the Sun-Sentinel have been running for Ft. Lauderdale's 100th birthday. We didn't see any deer, just some cows and a black turtle...lol but the ride was pretty cool. You would need to get rates on the quail, deer, and turkey hunts.
Damn this is longest review ever LOL. So much to do and not do , if you wish, at Quail Creek. It's about and hour and 45 minutes drive north from Coral Springs and we will be back for sure. Remember to tell Maria, her husband Fred, Debbie, Chef Nat, Hunting guide Bill, his wife Maria, and most importantly the owner Whit Hudson and his wife Gwen that Dan sent you and stay Hungry!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rick P.Lake Placid, FL4253Oct 17, 2016
Quail Creek Sporting Clays a beautiful course set in the woods, plenty of shade, and 2 courses to choose from. Friendly staff. A beautiful lodge. And cabins available, with fishing almost at your door. Lunch is available with a limited menu, but very good.
