We really enjoyed this quint little spot while we were at the Bouckville Madison Antique Fair... Good food and very friendly service... quiet charming ambience

Made reservations for mothers day last Sunday.
Sadly, rather disappointed with the service as our server seemed very overwhelmed and hardly offered any help. Granted, it was busy for the occasion, ... I get that.

My mother , mother in law & dad got the breakfast buffet.. absolutely loved it.
My bf and I ordered items off the menu which took about 45 minutes to recieve.. at this time the used plates had already piled up on the end of our table and our drinks were empty.
We sat next to the kitchen so we could tell when our food was up, it ended up sitting on the counter for a good 10 minutes before another friendly server finally brought our food to us.
The food was delicious as usual, this has always been one of my favorite restaurants.. usually a great place to dine in and enjoy a nice meal with company. As always, I will be back .. just rather disappointed with the service on the special occasion

After getting good diner there in the past we thought we'd try breakfast. Well, it was really greasy. Not sure what they used to fry scrambled eggs in but it wasn't something I'd wish to eat again. Bacon was really greasy. We both spent a lot of time on the throne when we got home. Not sure what is going on there but avoid breakfast that's for sure. Dinner in the past had been great, nice people. I don't know what the heck happened with their breakfast today. But I have to lower the rating to one star.

Ordered the hot turkey sandwich with fries and gravy, food was fine and the service was friendly. This is a deservedly popular place.

We came here last year for their breakfast buffet. The service wasn't good, we had to get up multiple times to request attention from our server to include refills, plate retrieval, and an initial welcoming.

The breakfast selection was great and even offered sweet breakfast items such as danishes and fresh parfaits. They also had French toast, pancakes, sausage and meals made a la carte by the chef.

It was a disappointment to find that they were not serving bacon that day - something we were looking forward to. But we were surprised by the exceptional customer service in which the chef felt bad, went back to the kitchen, and brought us bacon he had prepared special for us. He didn't have to do that but he did. The lack of professionalism by the server made up for it with the chef. We decide to tip him rather than our waitress.

Went mid afternoon - took over 10 minutes to get a server. The fish fry was WAY overcooked - dried out totally, didn't care for coleslaw , baked potato was hard - not cooked fully. The turkey breast dinner was said to be real turkey breast - it was turkey tenderloins - not really as advertised - the "real" mashed potatoes - were NOT real. will never return

Classic American diner made better by the addition of a hot dog and ice cream stand in the next building. American classic comfort food . Breakfast ,lunch and dinner.U have eaten here many times and as a matter of fact going top eat there tomorrow about 1:30 for my friends in the area. Fresh cooking meats cooked on site . Great bake goods and now soft ice cream next door . The owner has been at the restaurant almost 50 years .I love her fish, corn beef she is a great chef give a try right on Rt.20 Madison New York

Haven't been here in years... decided to stop in for lunch today and all went well, wait staff is attentive without being overbearing.
Good food at a decent price and good portion sizes.

The service was great and the food was fabulous. I had the chicken cordon bleu wrap. Others in my group had burgers and Philly steak sandwiches and were very pleased. We had brownies for dessert. They were amazing. I look forward to coming back when we are back in town.

During our recent visit from AZ, we visited Quacks 4 times. 3 of the 4 times were OK, but when we came on Saturday afternoon for lunch, we were seated but never waited on. We ended up leaving after waiting for 20 minutes. There was a baby shower or some type of large gathering in the back, so all of the wait staff was catering to them, getting their drinks, and did not help my party or the party next to us unfortunately.
