Campus Pollyeyes

We placed a pick up order and were told 30 mins. It turned out to be an hour but totally worth it! There were only 3 people working with a packed dining room and other people waiting on pick up as well. Great job to the staff tonight and thank you for dinner. It definitely did not disappoint!

Have you even been to Bowling Green if you haven't had Campus Pollyeyes??? My mom insists on coming here every time she visits and for good reason -- it's delicious. If you do come here, you need to try the cheese stuffed breadsticks. Firstly, they're huge, and you can get them with a number of different sauces. They 100% constitute as their own meal so don't be afraid of going hungry. Whenever I come here, I usually end up with leftovers.

The people here are also very friendly. I've never gotten bad service. Most often, the waiters check in often, and the food is pretty speedy. Nice atmosphere as well. Definitely a college town staple for good reason.

Great pizza, salads, sandwiches and drinks. Great service with booth seating as well as takeout. Servers are polite, efficient and keep restaurant clean

Gave me a throwback to college days! Their cheese stuffed breadsticks are great when they are fresh, but don't do so hot when reheated. Got the veggie pizza which was pretty good but felt like it was missing something! The inside had a pretty decent amount of seating and a good selection of beers. Service was a little slow, but it was a busier day.

Stopped by to try the breadsticks, calzone, and pizza.

Plenty of free parking out front.

Can't lie, place was packed on a Sunday afternoon, resulting in a minimum of an hour wait after ordering.

Small (3) Breadsticks. ($10.50).
+green peppers and onions. ($1 each).
+jalapeños cheese, garlic butter, and ranch sauce ($1 each).
Breadsticks were already basted with garlic butter. Ordering a side of garlic butter is unnecessary. The jalapeños cheese and ranch was key!

Calzone. ($11.50)
+green peppers, green olives, and onions (+1.50 each).
Also basted with garlic butter.
Extremely cheesy due to mozzarella, ricotta, and Colby cheese.
Outside texture was similar to the breadsticks.

Medium Vegetarian Pizza. ($16.50).

Here is where it's disappointing.

Asked for pan style. An hour later, we were served our stuffed breadsticks. Shortly after, the calzone and pizza were brought to our table.
Obviously, it's not pan style, but it was thin crust.
Asked why and server advised it was busy then walked away. Note that we were the tail end of the rush.

At this point, I wasn't going to send back a pizza after an hour of waiting.

Really? If you weren't going to make the pan style pizza, please advise as opposed to punching in a different order.

Extremely disappointed. I can't stress this enough.

Only giving two stars because beers were $3.25. I imagine this establishment is so close to BGSU.

The food is really good especially their stuffed breadsticks, but dining in is definitely not the most pleasant experience as there is a grumpy bearded guy who is often short and not so nice. The restaurant feels and looks dirty and while the service is relatively slow, that's not a big deal because the food is good and I will say other than the random grumpy dude that the rest of the staff is relatively nice.

Pizza is great, just like their other BG location, but the stuffed breadsticks are the REAL reason to order here.
