I went through half a dozen dry-cleaning places with great disappointment. Then I found Oscar. I buy most of my clothing second hand and I bring it here or adjustments.
Oscar does an excellent job at a great price. I am so happy I found this place. I drive all the way from Pacifica for his quality work.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David I.San Francisco, CA3437575Apr 2, 2019
Really nice guy. I've had him do tapering and alterations on pants and jackets; so far, I'm happy with all of his jobs.
I really recommend coming here to get something worked on, plus there's ample parking near the chipotle. The only downside is he only accepts cash.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jennifer L.San Francisco, CA172482Nov 7, 2018
Ugh never again! It was a few days before Halloween, two other alteration shops had turned me down saying they were too busy. I needed to get a cape cut and hemmed before I went out of town. The owner saw that I was desperate and decided to take on my cape at THIRTY DOLLARS. FOR A SIMPLE CUT AND HEM. Given my situation I decided not to wager with the man and just pay up this time, but never again.
TL;DR lesson learned: don't come here. My $25 cape from the Spirit store ended up costing me $55Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lenin B.Los Angeles, CA99Nov 11, 2018
Short story: WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. I paid $88 cash for terrible work and lack of professionalism. I will never come back here again.
Long story: I came to Pulido's around October 1st to alter the waist and sleeves on 2 dress shirts, and fix a button on my girlfriends dress. The gentleman was very nice this day, but he told me that the shirts and dress wouldn't be ready until October 27th. Almost an entire month to do two shirts and a button on a dress...
So I called on the 27th (good thing I did that instead of showing up), only for him to tell me that he hadn't even gotten to my shirts and for me to come back the next day. I have a very busy schedule and I couldn't make it until yesterday.
I show up to his store on November 10th, and the door is locked at 4:30 even though they close at 6. I had to call to get him to come out and open the door. Both my shirts were done, but he tells me that he couldn't finish my girlfriend's dress because he lost the button, she he needs her to try the dress on again. You'd think after over a month of having this dress, he would have had the common sense to give me a call to inform me. So instead, we had to wait an extra 20 minutes while my girlfriend tried the dress on and he made the alteration when we were expecting to grab and go.
I decided to try on my shirts. He made my sleeves WAY TOO SHORT. If I raise my arms in front of me, the cuffs literally go up to the point where I bend my elbow. When I complained, he tried to convince me this is exactly how dress shirts should look. He didn't want to take the fault for ruining my $200 worth of shirts...
Overall: This man does shoddy work, has a huge lack of professionalism, and cannot keep a deadline. I will never come here again, and will warn people against wasting their money here.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alvin S.Pleasant Hill, CA7108Sep 27, 2018
Oscar did work on two of my suits:
Suit 1: I brought him a Calvin Klein X Fit suit that's been sitting in the closet because it was too big. I was looking for a slimmer fit. He took my 44R blazer and made it into a 42R, taking in the body, tightening and shortening the arms. The pants were a 34 and made it into a 32, tapered and hemmed the legs. I was truly amazed by how well the suit fit!
Suit 2: I also brought him an HM Linen Suit. Since HM runs smaller for me, I purchased a 44R blazer and 34 pants. I also wanted this suit to fit slim. He took in the body of the blazer and shortened the arms. The pants were tapered and hemmed. And again, the suit fit like a glove!
I read some reviews on how some people had to keep coming back as Oscar wasn't finished with their item(s) but that just goes to show how many people go to him because of his great work. He spends time on making sure you're satisfied with your item. Maybe call ahead to make sure your item is ready. Just be patient and you'll be extremely happy with his work. Lastly, the cost was the affordable and cheaper than most tailors in the local area.
Thank you Oscar!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Eleanor Vergara G.San Francisco, CA1814214Nov 18, 2019
The Best Place to come if you need your expensive designer clothing done, or any other ones, like heming, tapering,or, taking in.
They all do,
Fabulous, Excelent work. Thanks to, Mr. Pulido, the owner of the place, he is the BEST.
I have been coming here, since the 90's. And, I will continue to use their expertise and services, Believe it.
I will spread the word to all my friends and family to come do their tailoring needs here. His service falls under the five star ratings.
For your convenience, They are open daily from 10am to 7pm, then Saturday, 10am to 6pm, and closed on Sunday.

Pulido's did an excellent hem job my new Gustin jeans!
I recently received my made to order Gustin jeans which I had waited almost 2 months for after ordering from their website weargustin.com
Since these jeans are a little pricey and made of very heavy material (16.5 oz), i wanted to find a tailor that would do a good job and not wreck my premium denim. My brother recommend Palido's and showed me the hem job that they did on his new APC jeans which looked like quality work.
The price for the hem was about $14 or $15 ea (Cant remember) and took less than a week to finish 2 jeans.
Also, they owner Oscar is very friendly and treated me like we've been friends for a long time.
I definitely recommend Palido's tailor for hems and would trust him for any of my future tailor work.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Cesar F.South San Francisco, CA153828Aug 4, 2018
"It will be ready Aug. 2"" . I come Aug. 2 - "sorry not ready. Come back at 7pm, it will ready". I wait until Aug. 3 - I show up at 12pm, sign on door - "be back at 1230". I wait half an hour.... he comes back "oh I'm still working on it. Come back later...." I'm frustrated at this point but I give him another pass and tell him I'll pick it up the next day..... Aug. 4 comes around.... mind you... they open at 10am; I show up at 11 and this is what I find "be back at 12pm".... r u kidding me....
If you need a reliable tailor.... I wouldn't suggest this locationHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Linda S.Los Angeles, CA200415Aug 2, 2018
They were able to fit my boyfriend in for an emergency pant alteration SAME DAY right before our flight to Boston! Amazing. They did a fabulous job in less than 3 hours.
