Very busy store. Adequate staff but poor leadership. Employees are all gathered together hanging out talking while people need to check out and need help on the aisles.
The deli was busy they were on number 10 and I was number 19 so I left but there was only two people behind the deli counter and one person behind the hot bar doing the hot bar and subs.
The biggest reason for my poor rating is the cashier called me honey and sweetie for 5 times which I thought is obnoxious and I cannot stand being called that especially by someone who does not know me especially someone is not my wife.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 6, 2023
This Publix is frustrating. I suggest you do better as sprouts is opening Friday across the street. Today I purchased rotten tomatoes at 1.99 a lb. They were in a bag. Lots of items on the shelves in produce were of poor quality (organic kale for example, red onions and expired yogurts on the shelf. Expired 5/03/2023 ~ Cho flip ~ the peach flavor. I'm checking because I have found expired items in my fridge that I purchased from here. Anyway they have some great bogo offers when they ring up and that is why I go buy once in a while you get 4 because of the bogo and they ring up full price. That's frustrating especially when the employees don't know how to read signs
Check those prices as they ring up.

I was in the area and decided to stop at this Publix to get some Biscotti. I like to just sometimes munch on them. I like the hard crunch and the flavors.
They had a good selection of flavors and it did not take any time to grab a box. As I headed toward the check out, I took a look at this store and I found it very clean. The people working here, that I interacted with....were all very happy and friendly.
It was a pleasure shopping here.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 5, 2023
Not all Publix are created equal. This one is less than 3 minutes away and although it isn't our preferred Publix I have to give a shout out to two different employees.
A few months ago someone collecting carts saw that my son was disappointed that there weren't any "car" carts left and he told me to wait a minute while he searched the parking lot and found one for us. Then tonight a different employee saw us start to walk towards one and grabbed it for us bringing it closer to the entrance. He also told me to hold on and grabbed some wipes from inside the store and talked to me about how he has a couple of kids and wanted to keep the cart clean because "us Dads can get sick, but I would do anything to keep my kids from not feeling well."
Also my kids typically get crayons, coloring sheets, and stickers from the cashiers who go out of their way to engage with me and my children.
Couldn't believe the effort these guys put in for us. The location is brand new, the store is kept extremely clean, they have some self checkout lanes, and it's clear that they think about who they hire.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 5, 2022
This Publix has been open for a few months and I have to say the entire staff that I encountered today were very helpful and polite. The set up of the store is nice. The bakery staff was most helpful and very friendly same at the deli. It's a good thing I'm not reviewing the customers! Some are just so rude!
The check out was pleasant, I do like to do self check out most times but today I went to the staff.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jo K.SoMa, San Francisco, CA221Jun 6, 2022
This is the second cake I've bought from the bakery that had zero frosting between the layers. I literally just separated the layers and this is how scant it was. Sides were also scant. The person I bought the cake for commented on how skimpy it was. Very embarrassing. I gave 3 stars for the taste. But the presentation was really lackluster.

Friendly cashier, large store with great selection. Found everything I needed and then some. Parking lot beautifully landscaped but maybe this is a Florida thing? If so, Floridians please know that it's NOT like this in other states. Clean and well stocked. No complaints! Wish I lived closer to this place!

Hire more people to work your Deli, I shouldnt have to put in an online order an hour and 45 mins ahead of time to get to the store to have to wait even more time because they have one person making subs...

I'm relatively new to Publix in FL bc I'm accustomed to my old Publix in GA whereby their customer services are outstanding starting the second you enter the store. At this store the only thing really great is the pharmacy with a friendly greeting every time. The cashiers I feel sorry for most of them bc they look tired. Fortunately I found another Publix at Jog Rd & Boyton beach Blvd. and they know how to present a store bc it looks clean, the staff is friendly and they do go the extra mile. What difference in 3 miles!
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 20, 2019Previous reviewUnfortunately for me that my local Publix is exactly worth more than 2 stars excluding the Pharmacy which I rate 5 stars with Cameron and Alev. The produce is what it is from a chain supermarket lousy. Instead go to the Boys in Delray or Maria's in Boynton Beach. No complaints directed at the Dairy Dept, the grocery Dept always has stale or outdated items. In particular, Twizzlers are always hard as a rock even when they're newly placed in the bin not at the Congress Publix. Here's my worse area of Publix the dreaded Deli and cold cuts Dept. There's always ample amount of personnel but there to busy conversing in another language which I consider rude and I feel as if I'm imposing on them. Never again, go to the Publix on Congress ave. Finally my beer, I go anywhere else but here bc I have had multiple occasions were the beer was flat. Don't mess with my BEER! Just kidding. By the way parking is atrocious for 3 reasons 1) 80 yrs old 2) Maria's Italian restaurant 3) limited parking.
See you at Congress Avenue Publix. - Seth O.Boynton Beach, FL1707Mar 15, 2018
This Publix is lit lmao J-NICE AND BARBARA in the deli are the coolest. Too bad Miss Keisha isn't there any more :( Lin is the best cashier, ever. Plus they never get mad when I go in the customer service line to pay for my sandwich lol
Edit: The one kid who pushes carts with aviators every day though is a little strange, I wish him the best.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
