This is awesome that its at the Prudential center on Boylston st. The selection of produce is definitely smaller than the Copley Sq market, but its still pretty good.

The prices are very reasonable. I got 2 acorn squash for $1 each. Grocery stores charge almost $4 a piece for an organic brand. Ridiculous!

When Pigs Fly bread is always here and it rocks! They let you try as much as you want before purchasing and all of the breads... ALL of them are awesome. Iggy's is also here, but I usually don't go to them at this location for some reason. I like them more at Copley!

If you go too late in the day, the fresh flowers are usually gone, but the other produce is plentiful. Squash, tomato, eggplant, greens, beans, peas carrots etc! Oh and the fresh onions = awesome!

This is a really nice farmer's market, and I'm so happy that it's very close to my office! I'm a huge fan of Iggy's bread . . . it is the BEST, and the people who sell it are very nice, too.

This market has everything from maple syrup to veggies to salads from Sel de la Terre. Please note however that those sandwiches are tiny and are $7.95. I will check back every Thursday to see what's new!

The new farmer's market at Prudential is starting off the season right with a well-placed option for workers in the Prudential to go on their lunch break to find that welcome addition to their night's dinner. Currently, the produce is slim pickings (early in the season) and the rest consists of bakeries and nurseries. However, the vendors slated for the market are very promising. While they weren't on site yet, I can't wait to see what Stillman Meats brings to the table.

One gem in the market currently is the Sel de la Terre booth. The bread and pastries looked great, and I hear sandwiches are coming soon! I'll be sure to update as we get further into June.

A very new and therefore underrated market. The Prudential Market has the perfect variety of food vendors to make it a one-stop local shopping stop: bread, cookies, pie, fresh veggies, fruit, flowers, dog treats, maple syrup and fresh pasta. A slight plug for my business-- I just joined the market with Nella Pasta, fresh handmade pasta using local, seasonal ingredients. We use local produce from Springbrook and MacArthur Farms, two other produce vendors at the market. We love Springbrook, the homemade dog treats, Ben's Sugar Shack Maple Syrup and When Pigs Fly Bread. Great hours for lunch break or post-work shopping, and a number of vendors with read-to-eat meals for lunch or dinner.

A very small, very awesome farmers market for two reasons. First, they have When Pigs Fly, and you know what that means - samples! *haul* Second, they have that Swiss Bakers too, which makes one hell of a raspberry croissant. And given the person at Swiss Bakers, they may even say it like the French. KWAH-SON. Or something. Anyway, I miss it in the winter, as I do all my farmers markets.

Nice to know there is some decent, fresh food available when in season in the area. Somewhat small selection. It was a nice surprise to find okra. The vendors were informative and helpful with their products. Certainly a weekly stop for me!

Good location, but it gets alot of traffic throughout the day. Some of the vendors pack up early, as I got there one day at 5:45 and most of the stuff was back in the truck already. Not as much variety as some of the other markets, but it does in a pinch.

I stopped here after work last week, and I was not impressed. Only a few stands had produce, and there was one meat stand that was out of almost everything. When Pigs Fly bread was the highlight of market, but I think the prices are the same at Whole Foods. Maybe it will get better as the season goes on...

fewer stars for not having too many stands. i suppose it's pretty good for being in the city, but i like a little more selection when i go to a farmer market. and some more unusual/local items i wouldn't find at a grocery store. i'm not a city dweller though, so i find it teeny...
