I golf here once a year and really love these 2 courses.  Played here over the weekend and threw out my back the first day(I always hit too many free balls when I get here, this time I didn't stretch, dumbassme...  Was gonna play 3 days, only played 2 , but got to see both courses.
First, let me school ya, these are Tom Fazio Designed courses and they are no piece of cake, even with a great drive you can still end up hitting out of the desert...That said both courses were in pretty good shape and were both tough but fun..
Desert Course is a little longer and you can hit out of the desert..  Tilted fairways and raised greens make it exhilirating..
Lakes course a bit shorter, but the water does come into play on most holes, requiring shorter clubs off the tee.
Staff is friendly and very helpful and there aren't better people than Donna, working the 19th hole.  Great pro-shop with logo Tommy Bahama stuff and more.
You will definitely enjoy yourself, didn't get 5 stars only because I've seen the course in better shape.
