Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

This is a popular and the only Popeyes in Zachary. The line at any point in the day can get very long. After a certain point in the evening, they shut off inside ordering unless you have a mobile order (some nights they'll let you slide and order and then lock the door when you leave lol) Wait times have a tendency to be long and when this point that I just mentioned in the night hits, the drive thru is absolutely brutal. The employees during the nighttime move as slow as turtles and run out of different menu items quickly. I truly believe they slow the drive thru line down on purpose just to punish people that happen to want chicken during this time, don't use the Popeyes app, and are prevented from ordering inside by the employees.

The food is normally very consistent with what you expect a good Popeyes cuisine experience to be.

I've ordered drive thru and inside multiple times...I have not seen a worker use gloves yet...if I have seen it I don't remember it so that should indicate how frequently they have them on.
I understand washing your hands and using that as a safeguard, but then proceeding to touch the cards of customers, coupons, chicken, boxes, jalapeño container, register, counter, shelf...it gets very unsanitary very quickly. I've witnessed someone come out of an elongated bathroom break(manager is screaming "where is this person at?!")during their rush hour when the place was packed, open the bathroom door, exit with their phone in their hand, and then proceed to touch things that go directly to customers. That's great if there's a sign in the bathroom that says employees must wash your hands before returning back to work, but how long do your hands stay clean if you're not wearing gloves while you work and serve customers?

The inside is clean enough to eat in if you would like but I've always taken to-go.

Some employees play around entirely too much, some employees harshly talk to others in front of customers (not as often), some employees talk to customers like they are a real burden, and some employees really don't understand how to ensure that the customer is receiving everything they've ordered. There have been at least 10 times where I've had to return or place my name on an IOU list with the manager due to an item being missing. Yes I understand customers should check their bags.

The food alone has this place at a 3, but the customer service/awareness + their handling of large crowds often makes this a complicated ordeal to undergo for chicken. It's truly a "hit or miss depending on who's working what shift are they happy before they come into work is Popeyes hiring 15 year olds who's cooking the chicken my goodness don't come out of the bathroom with no gloves on and immediately hand me my drink cup because this manager just told you to"...type of thing.

This place is worse every single time I come today got a three piece. All white came with a side bought two extra sides, came home, open the bag and cheated out a piece of chicken and a side.
And then, of course I don't want I guess the people that watch people getting waited on in the drive-through line they have to stay on a certain time so they make everybody not pull up until the food is ready and if it's just absolutely crazy anyway all right, I keep saying I'm not ever gonna go back, but I've decided that I'm never going back

Hello! They'd helped people before me on the drive thru. I get to the window and this guy puts his hand out the window like he wanted me to stop then walked away from the window in disgust. Another lady came to the window and asked how could she help me. She said there's only two of them there and they're working the front and back (I guess taking orders but I was the next person in line and there was only two cars in the parking lot so I don't know where the crowd was plus there were other employees working, at least three or four that I could see from my window). She took my order and had it out quickly. The guy was talking smack behind her. So unprofessional. I have given this location two chances!!

Worst popeyes I've ever been to, slow is an understatement and the employees are lazy. Would not recommend no matter how hungry you are.

After asking them to remake my shrimp bec it was burnt , they remade my order and this is what I received. my second shrimp order. Is this shrimp or hush puppies ?? Horrible .. I'm not the only customer who complained today. Wow!!! Wow!! Horrible

The absolute worst Popeyes I've ever been to..Been there maybe 5 times in the last month and service is always TERRIBLE!!!!!Longggg waits!!

I was left speechless after my long wait, the man on the intercom was rude!!!! Finally got to pay window the young lady was rude and awful the food tasted bad also! So do not go their!!!

Awful awful service. Will never be going back. I placed an order online. My husband went to pick it up. There is no one in the front of the store. My husband had to repeatedly yell and was finally able to get someone's attention. When they finally noticed him it had already been 30 minutes passed when our food was supposed to be ready, and they told him they needed to cook our food. Our order was marked as ready to be picked up so I couldn't cancel it. I do not recommend this location to anyone ever. I honestly don't know how they have business because this location is awful and if I was the owner I would be ashamed. It should not take an hour to get an online order ready.

Popeyes is hopping tonight. Busy!!!! The line was looonnnggg backed up to Scenic Highway. ), but the staff were friendly and service was good. Patience Is a virtue during this pandemic!

They are only doing drive thru and take out right now. But I love that chicken from Popeyes!!
Food was great as always! Check them out!

The food is great, however the service is ridiculous. It closes at 11 pm and we pulled in at 9:45 pm. We sat in line behind 5 cars and didn't even get the chance to order before 10:05 pm. We sat at the ordering machine from 10:05-10:20pm with nobody asking us for our order. They don't care about the business, they only care about when they can go home. They are lazy and have lost my business as well as my families.
