Ponderosa Motor Lodge

Don't go to this place it is very disgusting and it has bed bugs I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and it looks like it hasn't changed since the very first review. I would give it a zero but it won't let me do it so I guess I'll have to have a 1

We stopped here on the last night of a roadtrip through Washington State. Never again!!! This motel was given a Double Diamond rating by AAA and I shocked that anyone could think this place deserved even one diamond. The room was very musty smelling, there was paint peeling off the wall outside our room, and the floors were unvaccuumed. The absolute last straw, however, was the BLOOD on the bedsheets. And I am not talking about nosebleed quantity. We were so disgusted, we demanded our money back and drive to the next town at 11pm. The manager had the gall to say that it wasn't possible, that fresh sheets were put on just the day before! And that was even after we brought the bloody sheets to the motel office to show him. We are making a complaint to AAA.

The proprietress was dishonest and the room was abysmal. I would suggest sleeping in a culvert with animals rather than the Ponderosa Motor Lodge -- which has been renamed the Blue Mountain Motel. I'm here with firsthand knowledge that nothing else has changed since the first poster submitted their review in 2009 -- except that it's three years worse.
