I gave them 1 star because of their terrible customer service!! The lady taking orders is terrible. When you call and try to explain what's wrong with the order she gets loud and overall just says she does not care. I work for a big company that has been buying from them FOR YEARS. They over charge and yet cannot at least re make the order. Terrible customer service.

That's exactly what keeps a company going. They need to take her off the phones but the old lady is no better.

They do not value their customers at all whats so over. The quality of the food is going downhill too.

McDonalds has better service than them.

I did not like the attitude of the young lady kind of tall with dark hair when asking her how long it would be for my chips guacamole and a tamale her attitude was just plain old nasty

The food is pretty good! They have quesabirria - something that can be very hard to find. The meat was tender, there was the perfect balance of cheese between the tortillas and the consommé was well seasoned. I even poured my other tacos! I would definitely suggest trying them. The only thing I didn't care for is the tortilla on the tostada was not crispy.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. They are RACIST & rude!
I was accused of stealing food. I bought $30 worth of tacos, an old lady brought out my food FROM THE BACK I said thank you & left out happy. I came back to tell them I noticed it's the wrong food (it was chips & dip) the lady told me they have CCTV & seen that my boyfriend grabbed the bag himself & we left out "laughing" why would I spend $30 & then so called steal $10 worth of chips & dip... I told them show us the camera of us "stealing" she didn't want to & said she'll give our money back & to never come again. The lady that gave us the food was sitting to the side watching us go back & forth & didn't admit that she gave us the wrong food. I would really like to sue for false accusations of theft/ Defamation of Character. I believe they thought we were stealing because we are young (in our 20s) & black... I've seen they have treated other blacks like crap as well. Never in my life have I have been accused of stealing & I'm always polite & joyful when I walk into anyone's store. I used to come here a lot because I did enjoy the food but they lost a loyal customer. Taqueria los Comales is GREAT I highly recommend

They got some delicious ass chicken! That's the main thing that keeps me coming. The staff is always very nice

I'm visiting from San Diego & they have Nasty food & nasty attitude. I was really looking forward to the food & it was dry & burnt & not put together well at all! Also I think they're racist!

This was my first time here and this was a pleasant surprise. I didn't take pictures of all we order but we had the shrimp tacos, steak tacos and chicken tacos. The sauces were so good that came with it. I'm not sure what is green sauce is, it's like a pureed avocado really nice. I will be going by here again for my dining experience. This was a pick-up but look forward to dining in.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in town! The staff is very friendly. Love coming here for a girls night out (margarita specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays!) for a quick dinner out with my husband. Love the variety on the menu. The guacamole is excellent as. Love their specialty tacos, abanilero. Normally, I am not wowed by refried beans too much, but these have to be the best anywhere around. They're addicting!

Keep them in mind for any catering too. The owner/staff are very accommodating to all your party needs. We've used them for our summer parties for 3 years now. The taco cart is PHENOMENAL! Everyone that comes always comments how their's has the best variety and food all around compared to any other taco carts. They really do an outstanding job. So happy to have them so close by!

I went with my friend to this restaurant on a Friday night, there were maybe 5 tables full but plenty of open tables. We waited 20 minutes to get chips and an additional 5 minutes for salsa. It took 45 minutes for someone to come back to our table after us flagging them down and making them come to our table. The table next to us has been waiting 45 minutes to get a server to come to their table. No drinks, no menus, nothing, no one has been to their table in almost an hour. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. Don't go here

I've been here maybe three or four times now, plus had some carry out tacos a few times. I can't believe I haven't written a review before. This is an odd little place in a small strip mall on Western. I think the strip mall also has another Mexican place and a Chinese place in it. The decor is nice and festive if not cozy, and they have a full bar with bar stools, as well as about 12 or so tables. Seating has not been a problem when I've been there.

The staff is extremely friendly. They don't all speak or understand English very well, but they do their best to explain the items on the menu.

On the weekends they have some more traditional Mexican fare, like birria de chivo (goat meat), pozole, and menudo. The goat meat special is amazing, I haven't tried the pozole or menudo. They also have a house special taco called albañilero that is the best taco I've had anywhere. It's a blend of different meats and special seasonings. The grilled chicken is their special (the pollo in Pollo Locuas) and it's tasty, basic grilled chicken on the bone. with sauces. They also have a great fresh juice bar, and fantastic micheladas.

Did I mention the price? Two people can eat here and have a michelada each for around $25. Pollo Locuas is a keeper.
