Pizza Plus

We ordered a pan pizza with cheese and garlic cheesy bread for delivery. I was told it would take an hour to 1 1/2 hours to arrive. It took closer to 1 hour and 45 minutes.

When I placed the order the phone rang for a long time before anyone answered. Given the weather outside I figured they were just extra busy.

Once the pizza arrived, it was almost what we ordered. Instead of pan, we got thin crust and it was a bit over-cooked. The garlic cheesy bread however was good.

The taste was okay, not great by any means, but passable for inexpensive pizza. The cost is pretty cheap, which is the plus for this place. And you get what you pay for here. Not sure I'd recommend this place, but the cheap price might be worth considering-and they deliver.

Be prepared to wait for delivery though. I had to call and ask about our pizza and the man who answered asked me to hold before even finding out why I called. The phone etiquette leaves something to be desired. I did tip the driver once he arrived, after all he did deliver when it was sprinkling.

Order a #2 half pineapple, half sausage with two sauces on my wings and I loved every second of it as usual.

Vibe is always busy, customer service is always sub par, but that pizza and wings? They never change.

Wings and pizza were saucey (the true way to my heart). The fries were done and seasoned well.

Will always be my favorite pizza in a city, obviously, not known for its pies.

So, I am going to need to visit again soon because I forgot to take a photo! I purchased the #9 Combo which is 2 large 3-topping pizzas. And it's an amazing deal!

I called my order in for pickup. Staff was polite on the phone and very helpful. Gave me an estimated time, about 10 minutes, and they were prompt!

Greeted by staff behind the counter, when I arrived. Customers at tables enjoying their lunch buffet (which looked great!). Family friendly atmosphere. Like I said, I will be returning.

There are some great combo options. The pizza is very good! I am so bummed I forgot to take a photo. I will update with one!

Man this place is bad. And really inconsistent.

We ordered Hawaiian pizzas but one with jalapeños. The jalapeño one came out great, but the regular, which is always for my daughter because even when I used to get one pizza and pick off the jalapeños she would complain that it was still too hot. Parents you know what I mean, she gotta see her own pizza without them or she just know it still spicy. Her pizza came out horrible! Almost no toppings or even any cheese and just looked like a mess. I don't even know why they gave it to us, of course it came out second. When I complained the kid came and took it back and they threw more cheese and toppings and I don't know like probably put it in a microwave or something to melt it. It was just so rubbery.

And no discount for the mess! And they ain't cheap

We'd never comeback but man that ranch is so delicious. Need to steal recipe so I can stop getting terrible service

Thin crust pizza (which I love), draft beer and wings? Yes please! For $23 you can get the wings/pizza combo with a full order of wings, French fries and a small 2 topping pizza. It's feeds 3-4 people and my hubby and I had tons of leftovers. Friendly service, clean-I'm a fan!

my first time going to this place and i ended up waiting 40 mins for a pizza, fries, and tenders. it took an extra 10 mins for them to remake the tenders because i ordered mild but was given bbq. by the time i got home the fries were soggy (i ordered garlic parmesan) and cold, pizza was kind of warm, and the tenders still tasted like they had bbq on them so i assumed they just wiped off most of the bbq nd tried to cover it up w mild? not sure but i won't be coming back.

Pizza Plus has been a staple late night pizza spot for me since forever! Cheap (compared to other spots), greasy, and filling! Quality is always consistent and that keeps me coming back!
This time I made my own with pepperoni, sausage, garlic, onions, and peppers. This pizza was PERFECT. A combo without olives, yum!
Pizza plus has a fantastic thin crust. I love it. 4 stars because it's not the best pizza but it is worth having!

Pizza plus holds a part in my heart as this is the choice for when it comes to pizza and wings since high school. In the early 2000's We used to go to here for their lunch buffet, unlimited pizza, bone in chicken wings, chicken tenders, salad. Although their pizza buffet and what they offer changed, we still go here for the quality we receive! This place is definitely great for take out as our families will typically order from here for parties or when craving it for dinner.

They have different pizzas to choose from and different combinations depending on how many people are hungry!

Last night we decided since it was Thursday night football to celebrate by ordering take out. They have web coupons on their website. we chose the web coupon #15; 2 medium pizzas, 1/2 bucket wings, and steak fries.

Our go to toppings at pizza plus is bacon/pepperoni (with red sauce) and chicken/mushroom (with white sauce).

Mild wings for the little one and those who do not like spicy. Nitro sauce on the side for those who do!

Again quality is what keeps us coming back. They are consistent with their flavors and the way they make each of their pizzas, sauces, even the ranch!

We have friends that worked in different locations in the past and they all told us different ratios of their ranch mix. Mae Anne location definitely has the best.

I would highly recommend pizza plus!

Used to be a frequent customer, however in recent times this place has been terrible. Poor customer service, expensive prices for low quality food.

Would recommend you go to the Pizza Baron.

I've been revisiting a lot of my old Reno faves lately, just to show some much needed support to local biz around this time. For a good couple of decades, Pizza Plus has been my family's go-to spot for game days, gatherings, or just lazy dinner nights. Unfortunately, the last few times we've ordered out from the northwest location, it's been a disappointing trip down memory lane.

They've always been very up-front about delivery times (usually upwards of 90 minutes or more), so I definitely can't knock them for that. In fact, this last time, they got the order to us under the time quoted and the delivery driver was super kind!

Another positive would be the wings. They are small but always tasty. A wide selection of sauces and man, that ranch... there's nothing like it, and they serve it in those giant containers for maximum dippage.

As far as the fries and pizza go, we've been super let down the past few orders. The fries have been totally hammered each time. My sister said they tasted like they were fried up yesterday, left overnight, then microwaved and left to get cold before making their way to us. I couldn't fix them... I tried. They were so bad.

The pizza was also pretty rough. I remember the sauce having a nice flavor, but there was barely any of it so therefore undetectable. The crust has been hard and chewy and the pizza itself tasting stale. Delivery is always tricky so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. But we've always ordered delivery from Pizza Plus and, in the past, it's been super fresh each time. I don't know what's happened the past year or two.

The prices on everything have gone up quite a bit (totally understandably, that is the world we are in these days.) But with all the amazing pizza places opening up and thriving in the area, it's hard to justify a $100 order to a former favorite when the quality just isn't there anymore.

I hope our beloved local chain can come back and fix the shortcomings so we can enjoy what was once known as Reno's best Pizza and Wings!

Great service and food is a 10/10! I got the special number 2 and was able to feed my entire family of 5. Great food for a great price, will definitely be returning!
