These people are unbelievable.
I was a faithful customer for about 8-9 months, spent literally several thousand dollars on tattoo removal, and now I wish I had given my money to anyone else on earth. I had regular appointments every 5 weeks from December '15 to September '15. Good faithful paying customer.
In September I got extremely sick, and accidentally missed my appointment. I called literally the moment I woke up, and when they did not answer the phone I sent an email apologizing profusely. I had never missed an appointment before, but I am human and got extremely sick unexpectedly, so it's not like I could have called in advance to let them know I was going to wake up late that evening extremely sick.
Anyway when I checked my credit card statement a few days later I saw that they had charged me $50 on a credit card I hadn't used with them since JUNE. This was in September. So they kept my credit card information on file without any permission from me at all. This is completely illegal! Even my credit card company agreed that this was illegal of them to do. In my email I begged them to at least let the $50 charge count toward my next session, and they absolutely refused to cooperate in any way. They just wanted that $50 and did not care if they lost a loyal customer who provided them with thousands of dollars on a regular basis.
So I disputed the $50 charge with my credit card company, back in September. Pittsburgh Permanent Makeup and Tattoo Removal actually had the gall to dispute it back, so I was charged the $50 again. I disputed the charge again. This time (like November already) the card company sent me this company's "response" to my dispute, where they argued that it was their policy to charge people for missing appointments, and included a scan of the un-signed receipt from when they charged me the $50 without my permission, without me being there. On the card I hadn't used with them since June. This receipt was not signed by me, since I was not there to authorize the transaction. They literally must just have a stash of customers' credit card numbers and expiration dates and security codes, which is so illegal I can't even. I work in retail so I know this is illegal to do without customers' permission. Current customers, I would say just be careful and check your card statements. I know I felt very unsafe knowing these unethical people had collected my private information like this.
Point being, I wrote back a two-page letter to the credit card company explaining all this, and they gave my $50 back. Then just last week (early December) I got a call from my card company saying that Pittsburgh Permanent Makeup and Tattoo Removal had sent them YET ANOTHER dispute to take the $50 back from me. And since I can't find their "cancellation charge policy" listed anywhere on their website, there's nothing more the card company can do for me, so after fighting me back and forth like 5 times and over 4 months for that $50 these people "won" and I was charged the $50 for hopefully the last time (since I can't prove to my card company that I was not aware of this policy). I can't prove something that didn't happen and isn't shown on the website, so like, I'm at a loss for what to do at this point. Enjoy this poor student's $50.
Even if the work you get done here is adequate, I will never again recommend these people because of the way they run their business. Totally unethically. It's just basic humanity to understand that people get sick and might miss one appointment out of dozens they were always on time or early for. And to not cooperate at all? After ILLEGALLY making this charge with my secretly stashed credit card information, to not even be willing to let it count toward my next appointment? (obviously I'm never coming back here again, but at that point I was still willing to beg them for that option). These are the people who run this business here. Pittsburgh Permanent Makeup and Tattoo Removal illegally keeps customers' credit card information and makes charges as they please, and clearly they do not value loyal, regular, paying customers. I'd say come at your own risk but I don't think people who run a business with such horrible principles should be in business at all.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Wendi M.Shadyside, Pittsburgh, PA161Jan 31, 2013

Tracey did a great design on me and my Mom. She charged us $450 and $500 respectively. I went back in two months because one brow was longer than the other. She charged me and additional $50.00. She advised we had to come back to her in a year for a touch up which she advised me ,my Mom and my sister in law the visit was free. She also mentioned we wd receive a card in the mail. We did not receive the cards. When I called today to reschedule my Mom Tracey advised the charge was $150. I reminded her of what she told us but she denied ever saying that to us. All three of us??? I don't think so!!! She disappointed me and we won't go back. Beware of what she says. Write it down. Kate
