Pinnacle Restaurant

Had a nice dinner in the outdoor seating area! I've been meaning to try this place for ages, since my parents live in Heritage Hills. The restaurant looks over the golf course.

My mom ordered the fish entree dinner special, which came with a huge helping of garlic mashed potatoes. Her entree came with soup, which was a yummy cream of broccoli. I got the smoke house burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked perfectly!

The service was quite slow though, and everything was a bit pricy.

We had a birthday party here in our own private room.

The Service: All the staffs were very attentive. Manager came and checked on us a few times during the party.

The Food: Food quality was good. Freshly made. All the guest were very happy. Chef gave good recommendation/suggestion for the buffet menu. Very accommodating on our needs.

The Parking: Private lot (FREE)

The only complain we had was the air-conditioning was not working. It was very hot in the private room.

The Pinnacle has reopened this September !!!!!! Can't wait to go and check out the new , remodeled space run by new owners with completely new staff.

Went there last July and it is a lovely location. Air conditioner was broken and there were no fans and it was a 90+ degree day. They could not make a good sandwich they could not make a good salad. The place could literally be a gold mine is sitting in the middle of 2600 condominiums and the rest of the town of Somers would enjoy it as well if somebody ran it properly.

I had the opportunity to dine at The Pinnacle Restaurant located at the Somers Golf course last month and it was a terrific experience. Shared the lobster blt salad (outstanding!) and had a half order of the rigatoni bolognese with a nice wine pairing. My friends had the crab cakes and the short ribs which were also good! Bread pudding was excellent! Friendly service!

New management and menu shows good promise... worth a try!

The restaurant is under new ownership! The new name is Somers Pointe and it's on point! Lovely room, great food -- we had the chicken Parmesan and salmon entrees with salad (delicious Caesar dressing!) and loved the bread pudding dessert. Really nice staff too!

I was there for dinner last night. The food was delicious, the wine selection was awesome and the service was great. I especially liked the grilled octopus. I've never had it before and was expecting it to be quite chewy. I was delighted that it was tender and had a lot of flavor. Delicious!

Terrible food-cold & tasteless. Poor service.
Don't go until there is a COMPLETE Overhaul.
One star for nice setting.
Up to today-11/31/2018 I still haven't heard any really positive about the new ownership, staff & nothing good about the food.
So until you get your act together, I will Not be returning.

On a downward trajectory if it doesn't get professional management and chef

After hearing that The Pinnacle had new management/staff we decided to give it another try. I ordered the goulash, hubby the brats. I got maybe 7 tiny pieces of beef in a really weird dark red sauce (mostly paprika my guess). Beef was tender, but weird tasting. Came with red cabbage and spaetzle, which were good, plus a few slice of pickle. The brats were really good. Perfectly grilled and juicy. They were served with kraut and some sort of mashed potato ball.

Seating and service was fast (we were the only ones there for a little bit).

Now under new management and they are off to a strong start! The place is beautifully remodeled and the menu has options for everyone. Went there with a larger party and there was something for everyone to enjoy and share together. My father raved about the chicken piccata and my husband loved the short ribs. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and the bartenders made great cocktails. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend you check out the new Pinnacle.
