      The problem is some of the staff are awesome but the ones that are miserable really bring the place down. These young guys that think they're too good to be there need to find something else. This is a busy location too

      We called for help with the hot tub. But no one returned the call.
      So I never dealt with them. But customer service and managers are not customer friendly

      poor service after testing my Hayward chlorine generator and finding it was defective - went 2 months than to find out need serial number on invoice - produced invoice with serial number now was told will be 2-3 months for a replacement - poor service and follow up for a factory authorized Hayward dealer -

      I went this morning to get a chlorine refill and water clarifier. An older gentleman I have never seen before came up to ring up my items. I asked how much for the 8oz bottle of water clarifier. He said it would be $10.69. I said no thank you I can get a bigger bottle for the same price at Walmart. He then proceeded to tell me that the walmart chemical isnt the right one. That only the chemical he sells is the right one. I told him that another employee tried to say the same thing to me about a different product. That I purchased both his and Walmarts and compared the ingredients and they were the same. He then pointed to the door and told me to leave. I walked outside to tell the nice employee who had brought my refill out to please just bring me my empty jug that I wasn't shopping here. He asked me what happened and before I could respond the older gentleman came out and got in my face yelling at me that I just wanted things for free. Where did that statement come from? He instructed his employee to just load the full jug of chlorine in my van. I told him no I wanted my empty container and the employee insisted I take it and put it in my van. I wasn't refusing to purchase anything. I told him he is being rude and shouldn't speak to customers like that. He said he is the owner and can talk to me any way he pleases. Is that how he runs his business? If a customer isn't willing to buy "HIS" chemicals they are wrong and he screams and berates you. He kept yelling at me that I didn't know how to take care of my pool and that I just wanted things for free. I just got in my van and left. I am so shocked that I was treated like that all because I wouldn't pay his high prices. I hope a lot people see this and refuse to give him business. He is a horrible man!

      Wish I would leave one star. Needed a pool heater installed. They came to my house gave me an estimate of $450. I had everything ready - electrician, pad, heater, everything.

      The day they are supposed to come out and install it - THE PRICE IS NOW $750!!!!! Asked to speak to the manager - left 3 messages NEVER GOT A CALL BACK.

      So I called their corporate office and let them know of the bait and switch

      STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! RUN BY CHILDREN

      They were awful. I needed some help with hose fittings for my pump and guess what the first thing I was asked ? Did you purchase from us ? I said no I purchased from Amazon as you didn't have any !! So now I just want some help to purchase some hoses and adapters . Nope we need to have a technician come out , we don't work with pumps not sold by us ! I didn't need help with the pump incidentally, I needed help with hoses !!! I went to another pool store on southern Blvd in Loxahatchee, they were awesome and I bought everything I needed . Will never use pinch a penny !

      Pinch a penny is 100% the most honest reliable and fair priced company in the entire state. My pool filter cracked on Saturday due to the very cold weather that we barely have down here. I called and a quote to fix it but did not specify I needed pipes cut. MATT the tech came and told me that their was a miscommunication on there end but he would still honor the price. Matt was efficient, friendly and extremely professional. I wish all the contractors I've had in my house were as on point as Matt was. Thank You Matt and Pinch a penny for getting this done !

      I was referred to this location by the manufacturer, who listed this Pinch-a-Penny location as an authorized Hayward support company. I called the location and explained that our brand new pool cleaner was not working properly, and was asked to bring the unit in after noon, when the technician was in. I drove the unit to the location and was stopped at the door by one of their employees, Tony, who informed me that they would not even look at the unit, since I had not purchased it from them. I asked if they could at least determine if the unit was broken (or was even appropriate for our application) and was summarily dismissed--all because we didn't purchase the unit from them. I have to say that this experience has certainly ensured that I will never buy anything from this organization.

      As to the response below from Customer Support, we were advised by Hayward (the manufacturer) to go to Pinch-a-Penny--an authorized Hayward support company. No one at the store even bothered to obtain authorization from the manufacturer (or even tell me that was the policy). All I was told was that they wouldn't touch it since I didn't buy it from them. In my experience, and in my business, that's not what being an authorized support company is about. Unfortunately, it seems that poor customer service isn't relegated to just this one franchise.

      Purchased a home with a pool in 2012. Had no idea how to maintain my pool. Someone suggested we stop at Pinch a Penny. Misael, the store owner helped and guided us in a way that we have felt as part of his family ever since. The staff is awesome, very knowledgeable, and friendly! They test your pool water, walk you through the steps needed in order to get your pool back in shape. They do house calls and are always running specials in their store! We have become loyal costumers and wouldn't know where we would be or how much we would have spent at this point if it wasn't for this Pinch a Penny! I highly recommend them.
