      First to Review

I really can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet.

It has been open for about a year and a half and I thought I was late to sample its delights.

It is a sad but true fact that I am over cautious about trying new coffee shops, I know that I bang on about soya milk but why do so many independent coffee shops not offer soya yet, luckily for me and this review, Pigwidgeon does.

This place is simply delightful, as well as being voted the best coffee in town by the Kent and Sussex Courier, it serves the most scrumptiously amazing pies, Mr Porky is a particular favourite of mine; fresh, gluttonous and the perfect alternative to coffee and cake (don't worry there is cake too!)

It took me too long to venture in but now I make it a regular Sunday fixture and I advise you all to do the same.

There is a fine food store attached to the cafe as well but I have not yet tried anything from here so must refrain from comment for the time being.

Didn't get the name at first... And, thus, didn't visit it for ages. Then I met a friend there for tea about a year ago and I now see why it's always so packed.

The food all round is good here... Great selection of cakes and sandwiches, all of which don't disappoint. The ingredients in everything harks of quality and is well prepared. I'd describe the food as simple but hearty. The coffees and selection of teas is fairly good too (but not the best in town). They even cater for vegetarians well too!

All in all, I find myself stopping in here frequently after a trip to the bank to grab myself lunch, cake and a tea. Right on the corner of Tunbridge Wells' main roads, it's a great place to watch people going by from too.

Friendly staff, fairly good service (be warned, on a busy day it takes time to be served) you can't really go wrong here.
