I called Carlos to ask if he also moved organs. He said he would do it for me.
He was courteous, and very helpful. He brought the organ from the sellers home to my home, and helped me move my old organ to another area, so the new organ could be placed there. He worked carefully with the instruments, and his price was fair and reasonable. I was pleased with his work.

I found a piano on FB Marketplace and had no clue where to start when it came to making sure that the piano was in working condition. Carlos was incredibly helpful and patient with my questions. He looked at photos from the seller for me and gave me his professional opinion. He noticed one minor issue and explained to me the pros/ cons of going forward. He ended up inspecting the piano before moving it as well and delivering it to me (driving 1.5 hours from the pick up location). It was a quick and seamless process. Carlos was very communicative and reasonable with pricing. He's scheduled to tune the piano next week, and I have no doubt that it'll go smoothly. I highly recommend this small business!

Moved my piano. Interesting experience
He got upset with me when I asked for a receipt for cash payment and finally wrote it on his business card begrudgingly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - DT B.Dallas, TX12910512Dec 31, 2017
I wish I could give a higher recommendation than 5 stars for Carlos. He deserves 10+. I called on New Years Eve, which was also a Sunday morning, and he happened to answer his phone unlike many of the other movers I called. He was quick with a quote, extremely fair on pricing and willing to help me move my grandmother's Kanube the same day....did I mention it was NEW YEARS EVE?! He was reliable, honest, prompt, careful, and moved a 900 lb + piano within hours for me. I would not hesitate to trust him with your most valuable pieces of property and he will do so with ease. What would normally require 3 men, Carlos could do by himself. SOLO!!! That's right. He moved a piano that literally weighed a ton by HIMSELF. Folks, he's the real deal. He moves, he tunes, he restores, he does it all. I am so incredible thankful I found him!

Carlos came to my home in Richardson and gave us a price of $14,000
to refurbish our antique Spinnet Worlitzer piano and add a pianomation
player He told us at the time it would take 3 to 4 months to complete.
He took our piano and a check $7,500. This was in Feb 1919.
Here we are a year later, No piano. I have since found out that the pianomation unit will not work on a Spinnet . I have talked to him 3 times
in the last year, each time got worse. I have since learned that there are
other cases like mine.

Carlos Farina is the owner and does all the work at Piano Restoration Center . He picked up my 1938 Yamaha for a complete restoration of all working parts, the case, all internal parts, new strings, etc, in May 2015. He promised the completed work in 3 months. After about 2 years of missed deadlines, he quit taking my calls. He took $6,500 of my money as a down payment. I have never gotten my piano back, nor the $6,500, nearly 4 years later. I have not been able to contact him. I assume he blocks my number. I've filed a police report to get my piano and cash back. While Carlos is a charming and believable guy, in my case, he could not be trusted. I'm without an heirloom and a lot of cash.
Unfortunately, yelp does not allow me to leave Zero stars, so I have to give One, begrudgingly.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Troy M.Dallas, TX12081Feb 16, 2020
Great service, on time arrival and careful delivery. Even did a few repairs for a reasonable fee. We have an antique baby grand that needs some additional work and we will be calling them again to handle.

Carlos is fantastic and you know he appreciates his craft. He was super flexible on timing, really reasonable on price, and on a tuning job even went to the hardware store to grab some missing screws for the piano. Will use again for sure, and highly recommend!
