Philippe Park

Philippe Park has become my favorite, go-to park when I want to get outdoors, and especially when my kids/grandkids are in town. Great canopy of trees for shade, beautiful views of the water, nice grills and table amenities for cookouts, and plenty of wide open spaces for the little ones to run around in. It's even nice place to enjoy a meal boxed up from one of the good local Safety Harbor restaurants just a few minutes away.

I've been coming here since the '80s when my parents moved to FL, and I enjoy it as much today as I did the first time.

I love this park. It's beautiful! There's huge, beautiful trees, water, picnic tables, and restrooms. And it's all free! I've seen people kayaking and using (very) small boats here, so I want to remember this for my own paddle boarding adventures with my husband. The water is almost always pretty calm too so it should be a nice easy paddle. It's also dog friendly! I took my dog here and we found our way to the "mini beach" to wade in the water a little bit. There are no rinse stations for your feet though so be aware of that. I don't think it's intended to walk in much. But definitely add this to your places to go! It's beautiful. Pack water! Stay cool!

Came here for a picnic. The park is well hidden but has a boat dock, parking $3, picnic shelters and grills, and restroom buildings. Our group was very comfortable in the shade of the shelter and it was a beautiful day. Shelters need to be reserved ahead of time.
The only drawback was I didn't see any beach area where I could put my feet in the water. But it was beautiful there.

What a beautiful park to have fun at. I love riding my bike through there and having a blast with the kids at the playgrounds. They also have a nice little boat ramp that you can go and drop your boat off at and fish inside the bay.

Nice park, bring your pup and walk along the water. Even has a few watering stations picnic areas and lots of fields for some outdoor fun.

What a joy to have this beautiful park in safety Harbor. So enjoy riding my bike though this tree draped park. A must check out!

This park is so beautiful!!! Definitely worth a stop for a nice walk, a picnic, or just to sit and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of parking, and clean restrooms. While you're there check out the other shops and eateries in downtown Safety Harbor, such a cute and underrated area!

Such a beautiful park. It is so peaceful and plenty of places to walk, bike, have a picnic or meditate or nap.

Lots of shade to keep the sun off you as you explore the large park. There are trails to walk on or a lot of people were walking on the main road as well.

There are two playgrounds, clean restrooms and lots of picnic shelters to have a family gathering or eat your lunch.

There is lots of parking available, it wasn't busy when we came but I'm sure it gets busy on the weekend.

Lots of people brought their dogs to walk and enjoy the scenery.

Definitely loved this park and vast variety of things to see. We will be back for sure!!!

This is a great park, one of the best in Pinellas county. The park is situated right on the harbor with beautiful views. Love all the shade provided by the oak trees through the park. Great place for a birthday party or a picnic. Kids play area is also super fun. Little sketch but fun.

This park in incredible. It's got beautiful water view plenty of parking, and lots of areas to go. We have come here for family photos, throw birthday parties, dipped our feet in the water, come for ice cream, and come to play in the park. This park has something for everyone. Strongly recommend!

Beautiful park and so many spots to setup my hammock and enjoy this cool weather. Love going here with my puppy!!
