Review from Brian Y.
As far as the hotel in general, I'd probably give it a 3/5. I gave them a bump to 4 stars because of the amazing service in their concierge lounge.
I do about 100 nights/year of business travel, almost always stay with Marriott. This hotel is nice, it provides everything you'd expect, but nothing about it stands out, except that the rooms were smaller than just about any other Marriott I've ever stayed in. Most suburban hotels give you around 300-350sq-ft. This hotel's standard room is only 200 sq-ft. If I had to share it with anyone, it would have been a bit cramped. It's something I'd expect from a hotel in midtown Manhattan, not suburban Philadelphia.
The concierge lounge, however, it what made this hotel stand out positively for me. The concierge, Luigi, was the most attentive concierge I have ever seen. He greeted and introduced himself to every guest, asked (and remembered) all of their names. He served people drinks rather than having them fix drinks themselves. It was the perfect amount of attentiveness where you felt catered to while at the same time wasn't overbearing for those who wished to sit in solitude.
Bottom line, the hotel is pretty average, but the concierge service was a really pleasant surprise. -

I was here for a conference. The meeting room was decent, but way too cold. I was sitting there with my coat and scarf on. There were also a couple issues with the microphones. The lunch that was served was fine, make your own sandwiches and some soup and salad. The soup was tasty and helped warm me up a bit. I liked the Starbucks coffee they served. They did run out of diet sodas really quickly which was annoying. All in all a decent meeting place.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, and nice staff. The rooms and nice and spacious and were very clean. Staff was a little slow when I was checking in but it was late, so they got a pass on that. Bed was very nice, and also clean. WiFi is available but you have to pay, and it is kind of pricey. I would come back here again if I have business in the area.

I am a Marriott fan. I will drive by a dozen hotels to find one Marriott. The rooms are always nice and the service is always outstanding.....
We decided to stay here after a Phillies game, rather than worry about fighting traffic in the city that night or the next morning. We were looking for anything other than a place to crash for the night.
We weren't greeted by the valet. In fact, the front desk have to find them for us. Our room was clean, but the bed seemed a little lumpy. This hotel is okay, but certainly not up to the hotel change standard. -

I am a big fan of the Marriott chain - they did not disappoint. Penthouse floor on the 17th, corner room with two sides of windows, access to the concierge suite on the 16th all at a very good price. The room was really clean and the staff is always so friendly - I guess it helps that I am a gold member.

Stayed here with my husband one night over Memorial Day weekend 2011. Got the room at a good price with our AAA discount, but if I had to pay the price they originally quoted on the phone I would have been even more disappointed. We ended up on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Not a big deal as there was no sounds from street traffic. However, they room had a funky odor as we entered. The bed sheets were itchy and made both my husband and I itch a lot. I can't fault the hotel for other guests' behavior, but we had guests next store to us that were constantly in and out of their room, slamming the door until well past 1 AM. However, I can fault the hotel for the paper thin walls. Also, we were in a non-smoking room, but it did feel like our noisy neighbors were smoking and blowing it our way.

Very disappointed! Called for a reservation (after seeing the deal on smart phone) and they jacked the price until I told them about the smartphone??? WTH. The place smelled, was very noisy, and sheets made me itch. I won't be going back.

This is a place with a very good location if you want to be able to see the city as well as the surrounding Conshy area.
The new Shula's restaurant is the best but a little expensive. The bar at the restaurant is exquisite and the staff is very friendly
The rooms are above average--my suggestion is to ask for a corner room...they have great windows and more room than a regular room. The covered parking is nice but does cost $12 per night and is really your only option.
The location is actually one of the very wonderful things about the Marriott in Conshohocken. You are right there at the crossroads of route 76 which goes east into the City of Philadelphia. If you go west, you can get to the legendary King of Prussia shopping district. You can also get a glimpse of America's past at the Valley Forge National Park. Should you continue west, you're right at the entrance of route 202 which goes south to Wilmington Delaware or north to Doylestown, Pa and beautiful Bucks County. There is also an entrance to the Pa Turnpike right there, at the end of rt.76.Listed in: I'm on the Road to Nowhere...

This is a very nice hotel and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are a good size with a very big desk and the sink outside of the bathroom, which is convenient if you have more than one person getting ready at the same time or if you like very steamy showers! They have both wired and wireless internet in the room for $12.95.
They also have the pre-order room service for breakfast which I always appreciate. It came right on time and the food was good. I was also there for a meeting which had a good food spread as well. -

Stayed here again, this past weekend.
Once again, the King Bed - Feather Pillows / Blanket were GREAT!
Room and bathroom was clean, again.
Restaurant was great and service still great excellent. This time, I found out that a party of 6 or more and there's a standard 18% gratuity, given my party was 6x. One of the members of my party was Vegan and the chef made a customized dish not on the menu with ease and no additional cost of their regular dishes.
Once again, this is a great deal with AAA, to get free parking.
Cons: No free basic TV or Internet.
This time there, they had a "Bar Mitzvah" going on Sat night. So when I got there the place was packed in front with cars being valet. I came out later to get something from my car and saw a kid was in the back seat of a cop car being taken away and heard a gentleman complaining because his vehicle was missing. Apparently, he came to pick his kid up from the 'Bar Mitzvah' and valet parked his car. When he came back 20-mins later, the valet attendant could not find his car. Not too sure if the kid was being arrested had something to do with that. I was glad I parked the vehicle myself in their parking lot.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Friendly front desk. Good steakhouse Shula's on premises. Pool & decent workout room. Show movies in concierge lounge at 8pm do not conducive to working. Have to pay for drinks in concierge lounge.

Very reasonable priced hotel with good service and comfortable beds! I was really impressed with the staff at this property when, after returning from my trip, I realized I had left a dress hanging in the hotel closet and the house keeping department over-nighted to my house the next day!

I stayed here during a annual meeting for my company which is headquartered in this area which is a suburb of sorts of Philadelphia. I was surprised at first the area and the surrundings and how out of plce this very nice Marriot is. The town is a weird collection of both office buildings, mill houses and just a strange set up. This very large hotel sits at the start and is very nice inside. The lobby is attractive and clean and the staff is very helpful. We held company meetings here and there was plenty of room. The lounge in the lobby area is also very nice with a good bar menu and drinks. The rooms are spacious and new and comfortable. I was surprised such a nice place would be in this strange town, but seeing that there was a lot of large corporations here, that may have been why. I would recommend this place if you are doing business here, otherwise if you are visiting Philadelphia, I would say stay closer to the city. I am not sure of the rates, but this was reasonable for this area.
