"Total Train wreck". Stay away from this place. It's as if a toddler was given a pair of shears. I truly didn't recognize my own dog. Never again!!

Absolute worst! The GROOMERS are PATHETIC!!!!! Unfortunately, I had 3 appointments in the past since getting my puppy in end of October and had to cancel all 3 appointments at different times bc my 5 year old daughter was sick! shes had over 20 absences in the past 3 months due to illness. Its KINDERGARTEN. I just made an appointment for my pup for tomorrow morning and just received a call from a rude, assuming man that I have to call the day of since the last 3 appointments were cancelled the groomers make commission. So every time I cancel, the groomer loses his commission. I said my daughter was sick that's why I cancelled and I am self employed. I cannot call the day of to make a grooming appointment that takes 3 hours. He said "she was sick all 3 times?nbc it was 3 times". I said um YEA! do you know what it's like to have a 5 yr old?! shes missed over 26 absences in 3 months so do me a favor and tell your boss the 3 cancelations and the COMMISSION that was lost was for a reason. if you dont want me as a client thats fine too but I cant call in the day of to make a grooming appointmen! I own and run multiple businesses. Trust me... when I cancel it's not just disturbing your commission but it's also a disturbance to my schedule. Next time ASK for clarification and don't assume carelessness bc Thats EXACTLY what he did and how he spoke to me.

We purchased a brush for our golden doodle at the recommendation of the store manager back in February. The brush did not work and no one mentioned that if it doesn't work to bring it back within 30 days otherwise I'm out of luck. Granted this is well past the 30 day period and I was not asking for a cash refund but if they have a policy of 30 days they need to tell their customers at the point of purchase and no just a sign that's on the counter where people put their things on when they going to make a purchase.
The return policy also states in the back of the receipt that the 30 day policy applies to companion animals in fresh water aquatic life purchases. A brush is not a life purchase.
As with most pet owners, we buy more for them then ourselves and obviously Petco is not the place for us anymore.

Jamie and Christine, in the grooming salon are 2nd to none. I've been taking my pups there for many years They are kind and accommodating. Christine is the manager and keeps things running smoothly and efficiently. Jamie keeping my pups looking their best. I wouldn't take them anywhere else as long as these ladies are there.

I don't know why every PetSmart on long island has an aversion to opening more than one register when the line is up the middle of the store, but this store is no exception. Meanwhile, three staff are flitting around bantering, which is great, but also talking smack about customers and should be working ti get customers through the line.

I brought my YORKIE in for a hair cut and told them round face short ears. a YORKIE cut. The first time they did an excellent job. The next time same instructions it's in the system and when I saw her she looked nothing like a Yorkie her whole face was shaved. I didn't make a fuss but I will never return to this groomer again

Friendly staff, great selection, best prices in town! Only place that has dog stuff geared toward all ages - including puppy!

We love the grooming salon here at Petsmart Commack. The groomers are all so nice and comforting. When you get there, they all give your dog so much TLC and attention, making sure he is ready to go to the back with them. They have a thorough procedure for checking in and checking updated vaccines prior to grooming. They take their time to do a great job, according to the package you choose. The grooming is professional and will make your dog look great. I like that they ask you exactly what you want, taking length, ears, etc., into consideration. Our dog gets so happy everytime we take him!......and this makes me happy because I have peace of mind that he is well taken care of.

Always pleased with the grooming department and service my dog receives here.

They are always positive and comfort the dogs on the tables by talking to them while grooming...

I brought my golden doodle in for a bath and TRIM as my regular groomer was out of town. Well, they shaved him down from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail contrary to my instructions.
I also think that they sedated him as he was very groggy when I picked him up and he hardly recognized me.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
