This location is a joke. First time here and a bad experience.
While shopping I needed to use the restroom and this big fat groomer came rushing past me and into the locked bathroom. I waited nicely for her to exit as she did I went to hold the door open to use it but she grabbed the door rudely, shut it and said that the bathrooms are for employees only. A big store like this and not a shared bathroom? Makes zero sense. I hope Karma bites her in her big butt and she's denied the opportunity to use a bathroom. She was beyond rude. I brought my dog (Oreo) to get groomed to this Petco 2/12/23 @ 11am for the first time and it will definitely be the last. As soon as I walked in the 2 groomers already had a very snotty attitude, I told them my dog had an appointment and the 2 groomers kept looking at each other as if it was such a big inconvenience that I made an appointment, they were not welcoming whatsoever, if you ever want to feel like a bother even if an appointment was made, come here, other than that I do NOT recommend this Petco. If I could I'd leave 0- Zero stars.

if I could it would be zero stars bought 2 lizards from this location not even a month ago and in the month both lizards are dead they wouldnt do anything about it dont buy lizards from this store they will blame you for the death

This is a review of the grooming department.
I LOVE taking my dog here! We are moving to a new neighborhood soon so probably won't be coming back, but we've been coming here for the past year. They are so sweet! They take so much time asking all about your dog and what you want done, and when you go to pick them up they send you home with dog treats and even a thank you note! I got to Petco at 9 and was waiting to go in with my friends. We were going to browse the dog and cat food, but the doors weren't open and an employee named Jo came out saying we can't come in if we're not buying anything and continued to lock the doors back up. My friends and I came back later, the same lady stalked my friends and I through them isles to tell us that we couldn't be in the store if we weren't buying anything again and accused us for lying about our intentions for being there.

I'm so frustrated with this Petco Store. I waited three weeks (I know it's busy season) to get my dog groomed and the day of grooming, I received a text message that the groomer never showed and they would reschedule. I understand things like that happen. But I was told to call to reschedule and I've called three times with no answer, leaving a voicemail every time. also, isn't it unfair that I will have to wait another four weeks to get my dog groomed again when they were the ones who canceled on me? Still haven't heard back from the store, but that's how far booked out they are now.

Will never bring my dog back here again. The last time I brought my dog to get groomed at this location we had an appointment at 3 pm. We received a call around 1:00 pm telling us we needed to bring him in ASAP, or his appointment would be canceled. There was no reasoning behind why. My boyfriend and I were lucky enough that we could break away from work to bring him in. Upon picking him up we got home and noticed a huge gash on the inside of his thigh. NOT A SINGLE GROOMER TOLD US THAT IT HAPPENED. I called the manager of the store and she did not seem very concerned with the situation, and eventually told me I could come pick up some ointment from her to help with the healing. If there was a noticeable gash inside his leg the least they could've done was tell us. There is no way he was accidentally cut and the staff had no clue. Our dog is very well behaved and has never had issues being groomed before. His haircut was rushed for whatever reasons (did not look good), and we will be supporting our small local businesses from here on out.

(I just wrote a glowing review of "this" PETCO - but I think it was inadvertently tagged to a different location? Sorry!) In the past we had purchased all of our fresh water fish and supplies from an independently owned fish store in Holladay. And, though there was a fairly high mortality rate on the fish purchased - we were usually able to get replacement fish. However, within 2-3 days after a purchase of several tetras from the establishment, 50% of our fish died from a suspected parasitic infection. The store was willing to replace the tetras - but that's it. We went looking for another fish store. The wonderful folks at the Reef recommended PETCO - and we are so happy they did! We have found the store, staff, and quality of the various "products: (live animals and care products) absolutely top notch! Kelsey, in particular, has been amazing to work with. We replaced our fish, bought a new 20-gallon tank at a fraction of the cost (of the one that we had purchased at other store and which cracked and flooded our living room hours after setting it up), etc. I absolutely love this PETCO (and the folks at Reef love the one in Draper). Thank you, PETCO, for hiring great people, providing excellent and affordable service and products - We wish we had tried you all outs sooner!

Went in to take a look at the ferrets and and an older lady, may be manager was not tryna let me see the ferrets for I don't know what reason l, she was just just sitting at the register on her phone.

Great selection of Limited Ingredient Foods. I had been shopping another big pet store when my dog became allergic to chicken and then grain and the never kept the food my dog could eat in stock. I put in five written and eight verbal requests at the big pet store, waste of time. Started going to Petco, wow, they are well stocked and extremely helpful in selecting food appropriate for my pup. Petco has never, ever, run out of his food. I am so grateful to be able to count on Petco.
