Solid salmon eggs benedict, pretty well balanced with a nice salad. The bacon and the potatoes others said were very good - I'll be back to try!
Very busy - lots of business breakfast meetings here. Make sure you do a reservation.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Apr 1, 20241 check-in
Everyone that's been to Grand Central station has passed by or seen this well-known restaurant. I've been here maybe 5 or 6 times and never disappoints. To me, it's like a fancy American style diner. The last few times I've always ordered the skirt steakand it never disappoints. For 35 bucks in manhattan, it's actually pretty fairly priced. The restaurant is beautiful and clean and gives off that cool NYC vibe. Service is friendly and attentive. Will be back!

I'm a huge fan of going to places that are in movies or tv shows. I saw Pershing Square in the 2011 movie "Friends with Benefits" starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. The very last scene of the movie shows them dining inside the restaurant. Pershing Square is located under the bridge right outside Grand Central Station.
I made my cousin make a quick stop with me here during our NYC trip. The front portion is a cafe, and the back is a sit-down restaurant and bar. I just had a simple cappuccino and pastry to enjoy before we went ice skating at Rockefeller. Service was decent and it's a really cute place inside. I didn't get a chance to look at their restaurant's dining menu but the place looked good. I'll try to sit down for a meal next time I'm in the area.Helpful 28Thanks 5Love this 37Oh no 0 - Feb 21, 20241 check-in
Spacious down to earth restaurant located across from one of the Grand Central Terminal exits. Prices seemed reasonable as a group of us colleagues came after a weekend work event. Everyone loved the coffee and enjoyed their meals. Loved the options and portion sizes! Some of us felt that the check took a while, but sometimes servers observe us deep in convo and try not to disturb us. I did notice that at a table of mostly women, some of us asked for the check in the middle of the table and the server provided the check at the end of the table, but towards the only male. Could at least just give the check to the person who asked 0=)

Had a bad feeling but wanted to cross a tourist trap off the list. The $22 tuna tartare was the worst rendition I've ever had. A small portion of tuna with an avocado cream and multicolor tortilla chips straight from a bag. You've got to be joking. The chicken pot pie for $25 had undercooked potatoes and carrots, small strands of chicken, and a tasty pastry. Anyone who eats here with any regularity is crazy.

We arrived early at the train station for our train so we decided to look for a spot to grab a bite to eat. What a gem of a place. We had a wonderful meal and was able to sit and catch our breath after a long day of walking. It was perfect. The restaurant was dimly lit, very romantic and the food was delicious. I had the NY strip with a serving of veggies, it was cooked perfectly. The veggies were delicious, seasoned and cooked well. My girlfriend was in the mood for a burger and she really enjoyed it. The burger came with Gruyère cheese, bacon, avocado and some aioli sauce. Our server was excellent, perfectly attentive and took care of all our needs. I highly recommend this spot.

My mom is so silly and had her heart set on trying out Pershing Square and declaring herself a tourist and exclaiming to herself that she's never been to the iconic Pershing Square even though she walks by it all the time.
We ordered the gnocchi as well as the turkey burger. The highlight was definitely the turkey burger-- I was truly not expecting much, but the burger was super juicy, and though the fries were more home fries-like than regular fries, they were crispy and hit the fries craving all the same.
The gnocchi on the other hand, though it came recommended to us, tasted extremely stale and dry. I felt like I was eating something that had been sitting out on the plate for a few hours. Not exactly sure what happened here, but I wouldn't recommend it.
We also shared a cheesecake slice at the end. The filling was cheesy and creamy. This one was more classic Italian style with a cake base rather than a graham cracker crust base, and I'm sorry but that graham cracker base is my lifeline. I LOVE a graham base, and that fact alone made me not enjoy this as much. But that's just personal preference.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 382331255Oct 19, 2023
My wife and I had been here 15 years ago. We had an amazing experience. Food was absolutely delicious!
Hostess was very dry and wanted to sit us in a dirty table! We asked her to please sit us elsewhere!
Our server was attentive and good.
We ordered
- pancakes- very good
- steak- mediocre
- burger- mediocre
- Fries- not good
Won't be back! Not that it will matter- it's a tourist spot above all. It's a great location- people will always come here regardless of the reviews.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Oct 16, 2023
We had Sunday brunch there, the food was delicious and served quickly. The waiter, however wasn't the most attentive. We asked for water and he either didn't tell his helper and completely forgotten. We had to asked the helper who brought our food for water and it was done immediately. Our waiter never once came to check on us or asked about our food. Instead he was talking to three other wait staff at their station. This was an unusual situation as we had very good service there in the past.

Breakfast is served here at Pershing Square, just outside of GCS. We ate here on a Saturday morning and were sat quickly. Upon walking up to it, you wouldn't think it was as large inside as it is- dark wood with red accents and a large bar.
I ordered a coffee as well as chocolate chip pancakes, adding sausage and home fries. The pancakes were kind of thin, but did come with 4 of them. The syrup was warm and runny - I usually would sacrifice thicker cakes for quantity but that's just me. The taste was there.
The sausage was good as well - the casing wasn't too tough to chew or cut thru and the homefries looked like the usual bland kind, but had a nice fry and crisp to the edges and were very good.
Overall this place is recommended - though it was hard to get a refill on the coffee.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
