Used car shopping is generally a 3-star experience at best. Seriously, though, this shop made the experience absolutely delightful.

The owner is obviously a hard working guy who loves what he does. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and not sleazy like so many other used car sales persons. He talked to me the same way he talked to my boyfriend, a total plus as a person who feels like I am at risk of being taken advantage of simply by being a woman at an auto shop.

My boyfriend was looking for a used Subaru. Unfortunately, the car he'd seen online had sold, but a similar one had just arrived at the lot.

The owner told us that car wasn't yet for sale because it needed some work. He detailed the issues which he had identified and planned to fix that week, but let us look at the car and even take it for a test drive. He told us that, after the repairs, the car would be listed at a very reasonable price.

We put down a small (refundable) deposit and came back about 5 days later to pick up the car. The work he had specified had all been completed, as well as a new inspection and emissions. He included a 6 month warranty.

He apologetically explained that a parts delay during repairs had prevented him from washing the car and topping it off with gas, and gave my boyfriend some cash to fill up -- seriously, how nice is that?!

Very pleased with the price and the service I get here, I have been back many times and the owner is very reasonable and fair.

I think they are as fast as any repair place, much faster than the dealership. I take both my vehicles here for inspections oil changes and routine maintenance.
