Peng Garden Chinese Restaurant

The food was awful. Everything fried was dry, hard and chewy. There wasn't one thing on the buffet that wasn't over cooked or just plain old and should have already been thrown away. When you go out to eat, you expect to eat fresh food, and this buffet didn't have that! I will never eat here again. I'll take my chances at the Hunan Chinese restaurant on 98 any day over this place. I can't sit here and tell you a worse Chinese restaurant I've ever ate at, and that's bad because there have been many. The service would have made this review one more star than it was, except when we complained about the food as we first started eating, all the 2 employees did was say "sorry" instead of offering to fix it. They should have gave us freshly cooked food! We will NEVER EAT HERE again. Waste of $60!

Waitress was great. Food was good for the price. Hard to find a good Chinese buffet anymore but this one will fit the bill.

Awesome lunch and dinner buffet. All you can eat. Lots of different things to choose from. Food is very good.

Terrible. Better to just eat nothing then eat here. Everything was super dry and honestly has a blood taste to it. Gag. Never will I ever eat here again. Not even if I was starving.

The service was great but the food has absolutely no flavor what so ever to it...I'm surprised anyone goes in to eat the food..The Ambiance is nice as well..If the food was better it would be one damn good place to go to eat at all the time..

I take Chinese buffet reviews with a grain of salt. One can usually find something they like at a buffet. This place had VERY limited food choices, and the food didn't taste like your typical buffet. The rice and noodles were okay, but that's it. The meats, not. For the lunch price of $13, I would go elsewhere. Not sure about the other buffet in town. The Public Buffet in Robertsdale would be worth the extra drive.

The worst Chinese food I have ever had. I don't know where to start, so, I will just end my review. HORRIBLE. While my last name is not Quan, I do know good Chinese food.

Ordered Szechuan Shrimp vid Doordash. Couldn't believe how flavorful it was. Absolutely delicious!

It was just ok.. It put food in my belly.. wasn't really delicious but not terrible either. The server was good, very attentive. The food just didn't have taste in my opinion. But my 3 yr old loved the noodles..
I won't be back..

we went around 8:30 pm, and the staff was so nice. the restaurant was really clean and well-organized. the lo mein was actually some of the best i've eaten in a while. very reasonable prices as well! i will definitely be back.
