Pelican Landing Pet Hospital

It's a pleasure bringing my babies to Pelican Landing Pet Hospital. Everyone there are excellent to work with! Doc takes special care and devotes time to my babies that have special needs and the staff are super friendly and caring.

I am so thrilled I found Pelican Landing Pet Hospital in my area. I'm new to Covington, and finding a new vet can be stressful. Especially if you've loved the vet and staff you left behind. My miniature schnauzer had tape worm and I was so worried about him. It's only been 3 days and my guy is back to his old self.

I can't give enough praise and high ratings to the entire staff. They are kind, caring and take their time with you and your pet. I have parrots and I will be using them for all my kids needs. I will also be shopping there instead of trying to find their food at that other place that seems to be out of everything these days.

Everyone there has been wonderful-so comforting, yet professional and have been doing everything to help my "Blackie Wackie", my cat of 15 years (even putting up with me calling ten times a day, at times!) . They are there because they love what they do- not see it as "just a job". Going to a corporate vet, I'd been told completely opposite things over the last year and a half, spending thousands- then being told I might as will put my Blackie to sleep from a damn lab tech ( a rude one at that). And, if not for Layton's Family Pharmacy, (which I can not begin to ever thank enough, there are no words- they saved Blackie!)! After going through the drive thru, beyond tears , asking if there was anything they could do- I broke about Blackie! They told about Pelican Landing , how great the people were, just to walk down and tell them the situation. They were so right! The vet, the staff, and just the sincerity, concern,love for animals- the whole atmosphere. I couldn't ask for a better place for Blackie. Dr.Liz Saylors is a Godsent. They said she was great. Taken in immediately, the way they treated us, and most of all......Dr. Saylors talks to you- not at you, explaining or answering anything you ask ( not being shoved out 5 minutes later for the room) Definitely feel how different--everyone ! We have since switched over. Liz, Brooke, Claire- the whole group go out of their way. The doctor is so down to Earth. We are so thankful to be with them!

This little pet hospital is amazing. Alot of folks are unaware that they care for some EXOTICS, such as pet rats.

One of our rats, Dr. Pepper, had to have surgery recently and Dr. Saylor and staff took EXCELLENT care of him. They also called to check on him the following day, and said they would be in touch Monday again to see how he is doing.

Dr. Saylor is very kind, and takes the time to listen to your concerns about your furbaby, which is so important! Having a closer option for taking our Rats to is such a relief, and knowing that she is familiar with them and can treat most issues helps greatly.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Saylor, Brooke, and the rest of the staff at Pelican Landing! Baylor was super nervous, but they really took the time to help him get comfortable. Dr. Saylor also called to check on him 2 days later since I mentioned to her I started him on a new diet. She truly cares for her patients and her business is is very personal. So thankful we found Saylor's Pet Depot!

This place is wonderful! Dr.Saylor is amazing. She explains everything and cares about both the pet and pet parents. The ladies there are friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to any one looking for a good vet!

Nice people but $$$$. It's a shame since it's conveniently close.

We just moved here recently from Southern California with our 2 puppies and needed to get them started on heartworm meds and update their shots. Dr. Liz and her assistant were so friendly and caring, they treated the dogs like family! The office is close to home, and there's a groomer next to it that was highly recommended. Glad to have found a caring new vet!

Dr. Liz and her team are truly fantastic! I have four furry babies that have been with her for ten years! Not only is she the only vet that I trust with my babies, but I recommend her to everyone. She has always cared for my babies as if they were her own. Plus, her new shop is fantastic! I can get all of my supplies right there and at a great price.
