Peking Chinese Resturant

I can't tell you how many times we have driven past this restaurant, well we finally tried it..we should have kept on driving. This has got to be the worst Chinese food in Florence. No flavor, no meat in the dishes, and the fried cheese wonton were just over cooked. We didn't even finish the food and made hot dogs for dinner. Nuff said.

Got the sweet sour chicken delivered. Was packaged nice. Sauce on side. Plus egg flower soup. Was all great.

The definition of hole in the wall. My family and I have been relying on this take out restaurant for years. The service is great and the people are very kind. On top of that, the FOOD IS AMAZING. best egg rolls I've ever had. High priced Asian restaurants in town can't even compete.

Ordered for delivery and it took over an hour to arrive. Food was cold. Fried wonton were dried out and disgusting. Very little meat in the chicken and broccoli and beef and snow peas.

We get take out from here a lot. It takes 40 min to an hour to get your food delivered because it's fresh cooked. Order with that in mind and you will not be disappointed. It's family operated. Best Chinese in Florence area, just not the best looking building.

BEWARE: The first time I tried this place, I ordered delivery. The food was really good for Americanized-Chinese cuisine in the Florence area. The second time I ordered, I placed it for pickup using the BeyondMenu app since I was right around the corner.

When I arrived, the place was closed and it looked deserted. As I drove around, I saw old clothes hanging from a tree and the back door was opened. I called to make sure it was opened. A nice lady picked up the telephone said, "Yes, but I am not at the restaurant right now". I verified with her that the address/location was correct, it was. I told her the issue and she quickly apologized.

When I returned, the door was unlocked. As I walked in, I noticed a pile of dirty shoes (adults and children) behind the prep bar. Papers and bags were scattered everywhere. It was dirty and didn't look like a restaurant. It definitely did not look like a place I would order my food nor eat again. The man who prepped my order did not look happy, he didn't speak hardly anything to me and acted as if I was an inconvenience to him. I called the number that I contacted earlier and explain to her yet another issue and asked for a refund. She apologized again and was able to assist me in a FULL refund and was very understanding. This experience on the phone with the owner is the only reason why I gave this facility 2-stars. After seeing what I did, I will no longer be a customer.

Don't underestimate this restaurant just because of appearance and location. This is my go-to take out spot. The food is delicious and always fresh. They've never messed up an order or forgotten something. Best egg rolls I've ever had in my life.

Ordered delivery and only part of the order was delivered. When I called the guy said "oh yeah she forgot. I'll tell her to bring it when she gets back." And hung up on me. No apology, nothing. Took over an hour to get a partial order on a Thursday night.
Annnd the rest of it arrived 45 minutes later.

Very good food and it's great having a place that delivers and does so in a timely manner!

This place was a huge surprise to both me and my husband. By looking at it, you would think it was closed (the exterior of the restaurant is sort of "run down" looking) however, don't let that fool you. The food is awesome!! My favorite is Vegetable Lo Mein and Moo Shu Veggies but everything we have had from here is great. This place has become a regular weekend meal for my husband and I and since the portions are so large, we always have enough left for the next day. Best Chinese food in our area!! I have never gotten anything bad from this place. This is a hidden gem indeed!!
