They do an awesome job of making the classics with vegetarian options, and then kicking it up another notch! Love their veggie eggs Benedict, that's stacked with veggies and veggie sausage, and comes with home fries.
I'm used to skipping the veggie burger and grilled cheese when I go out to eat, but they change it enough to make it worth getting and extra tasty! The chipotle mayo they have on their home-made veggie burger is awesome, and goes well with their crispy, seasoned fries.
Can't wait to try more- definitely recommend to vegetarians. They also have gluten-free bread for those that must do without!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Matt D.Central Manchester, CT22933Jul 19, 2015
Last stop before leaving Burlington after a great weekend brew fest.
Had Caprase eggs Benedict with fresh basil and Maine tomato on crispy English muffin and awesome bacon.
Friends had breakfast burrito , and donut French toast and Granny Smith sausage omelette.
Fresh and homemade you could tell.
Great staff and friendly.
Would go again and would like to see if their lunch is good.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alexis D.Williamstown, VT15011Jan 29, 2017
We stopped in on a mission to try someplace new and were very pleased with the whole experience. The building, both inside and out, isn't much to write home about, but if you ask me, diners weren't meant to look fancy.
The waitress, Emma, was the nicest little ray of sunshine you could have asked for and have us wonderful recommendations for our breakfast choices and very pleasant conversation.
Everything was delicious from the coffee and donut to our French toast and omelletes. We will be back to try something new sometime soon!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Andrew M.Alexandria, VA4421929Apr 18, 2016
Waitresses were beautiful, but SSSSSSLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW. It was Sunday around 11am and it was indeed packed. The freshmade donuts were tight. The Apples and cheese omelet was actually very very good as well. The blueberry pancake was terrible though. Tasted like Bisquick and I swear that was fake maple syrup. IN VERMONT?!??! The damn milk comes in maple flavor. How dare you even purchase, let alone SERVE fake maple.

Hello Andrew:
Thank you for coming in to our diner. As you noted, Sundays are incredibly busy, and I apologize for the wait. I'm glad you liked your apple cheddar omelette and our homemade donuts ( we had molasses and maple glazed that weekend). I'm disappointed you did not like the pancake. I can assure you that our batter is homemade, and our blueberries fresh. Our maple syrup is from Hidden Mountain Maple in Lincoln Vermont. We do give the option of having Log Cabin syrup as well - because some of our guests actually do prefer it . The server should have asked you if you wanted Vermont syrup or Log Cabin. I'm assuming you mistakenly got the wrong one. I'll review the procedures with our servers to make sure this does not happen again. Once again, thanks for coming to our diner and we hope to see you again if you come back again to Burlington. - Chris H.New City, NY1820Mar 6, 2016
Chose this as last meal, while visits Vermont. We got there around 10am on a Sunday. As we were leaving there was a least several people waiting on line, so I would suggest getting there early.
Our waitress was pleasant and funny. The oj was freshly made. I had a make your own omelette, with fresh cheddar cheese.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Joseph T.Baltimore, MD66838Aug 19, 2016
New to me, we grabbed breakfast after a night out in Burlington. The sausage gravy and biscuits were great (hot gravy with big chunks of sausage).
They also had amazing fresh housemade donuts for $1 which were super.
A friend had one of the Benedicts which looked great.
Homey, very casual.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Forrest M.OR, OR1446Mar 11, 2015
Fantastic on all fronts. Outstanding service, perfectly prepared food, plenty of character, and gosh darn are their milkshakes good. Everything you could want in a diner.
We've had the scram-bowl, most of the eggs benedicts, the hungry hipster, and more. Never been disappointed. Not planning on going a week without a visit here for as long as I'm in Burlington.
Just keep in mind that this isn't the place to get kale pancakes with quinoa fries and tofu. For a 'trendy' breakfast you'd be better off going to Magnolia's.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Alison C.Franklin Township, NJ124237Apr 23, 2016
Great traditional diner in downtown Burlington. Kids had a single pancake (each) and they were huge and definitely enough! I had the Popeye eggs Benedict which were slightly undercooked (very mildly runny whites) but the sauce was great and the home fries were delish! Wish we had saved room for a freshly made donut!
