One star represents how I once was happy with Farm Bureau. My former agent Kelley Broch changed all that..
I sent questions via email sporadically starting in June of 2017 requesting information with regard to coverage on my Daughters vehicle.
Unfortunately I sent the following email on 11/6/2017: Good-afternoon, We need to add my Daughters -car- to my insurance policy. I believe you quoted me liability, bodily injury? Does that include Medical payments coverage too?
We would like to have the car covered by Friday as -my daughter- wishes to drive it to school.
Will you send me the amount we will owe if we make 4payments a year as I currently do? Is that an option?
Mr. Broch regarded the Email I sent 11/6/2017 as the definitive proof he should add the coverage provided in a previous quote to my insurance policy making it affective Monday 11/6/2017. He forwarded the Binder with an email explaining when the coverage in the Binder would begin, what dates payments would be due, how much would be prorated and how and when the prorate could be paid.
I proceeded to questions the Quote (as I termed it) not understand he had already changed my policy to include the additional vehicle. I continued to request different pricing over the course of that week.
Friday 11/10/2017 I received the following email:
Hi Tabitha, sorry for the delay I have been away from the office. The only way that we can do separate policy's is if the car is titled differently from the way you have the - my car- Titled. My understanding from our past conversation is that you had titled the car in your name and therefore requested that we add - children's car- to your existing policy classing -my daughter- as primary driver
And -other child- as having a learners permit only.
Please let me know if this is not correct, we have communicated both by phone &Email over the course of the past few months, I want to make sure we are doing this correctly.
Due to my perceived attitude from Mr.Brock and my dissatisfaction with the prices and his inability to provide coverage terms I wanted I didn't confirm satisfaction with the coverage.
On 12/7/2017 I intended to pay my premium I anticipated $430.48 the other half of what was paid 10/3/2017 instead a bill of $1309.48 was looming.
I promptly contact Kelley Broch instructing him to remove the car and it's billing that it shouldn't have been added. He proceeded to tell me he was looking for the Email where I said add the coverage. After several emails he contact Dianne -Members Assistant who didn't assist me the customer.
She proceeds read me the email Just as Kelley had from 11/6/2017. Kelley and Dianne disregarding the emails I sent following 11/6/2017's initial email. The subsequent emails making it clear I am not interested in his Binder and the Insurance cards as I continually regard the Binder as a quote and request different terms.
I now either pay more than $1309.48 by 12-20-2017 to maintain my coverage as they since have removed the additional vehicle's coverage of which without a tag I am Not required to carry (the prorated coverage charges from 11/6 - 12/7 they won't remove) my payment due now is greater than the outrageous $1309.48 I found 12/7.
Dianne the Member Assistant and Kelley Broch state and I am quote Mr. Broch
As stated multiple times now the coverage was added on the 6th per your request. In other words you asked for it. Any changes from that point would have been changes to coverage that was already in place per your request. Your request to add coverage came after a series of multiple quotes provided over a 2 month period. I answered the questions that you emailed me accordingly and after the 10th we didn't get any further responses until today. We are deleting the vehicle effective today and the new amounts due will be calculated in the system overnight. I've done my best to help you at this point and I agree maybe you should seek coverage elsewhere if you lack confidence in our ability to service your needs.
This policy can be canceled be canceled per your request, let me know if I can assist with this any further.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
