Super impressed with the service at Pavlos. The sole of my beloved Dansko boots completely cracked, the style was not available anymore and I was not ready to say goodbye. I took it to PSR and was told that particular sole is not available to replace and cementing it might not work. But they were willing to try. If it wasn't going to be successful they would stop and let me know. I appreciated the honesty and willingness to try. I felt they were empathetic to my problem and invested in my happiness, lol.
The price was incredibly reasonable, service and attention top notch and the cementing was a success! Hopefully I'll get another few years out of them. 10/10 would recommend.

I should have done this review years ago. Pavlos shoe repair is by far the top shoe repair in the city. They are honest, professional, very well priced and do amazing work. I have never been disappointed. Fantastic family owned business. I highly recommend them.

I had purchased a used Halston black pebble leather tote from Poshmark. The straps (while pretty cool looking, with snaps that would allow you to adjust the overall length of the straps) were quite frayed, such that I wouldn't have felt comfortable carrying around anything heavy in the tote, for fear one of the straps might break.

So I took it to Pavlos' and he (it seems 'Michael', the son of Pavlos) determined that there was no way to sufficiently repair the straps...that it would be best to replace them entirely. He said he would not be able to retain/reattach the snaps, so the new straps would have to be just simple straps, in matching black pebble leather. I asked if he could retain the four gold "H" pieces that were currently attached to the bottom of the straps. He said he would do so.

The attached photos pretty much say it all. The bag looks so much better, and feels so much more secure now, when I carry it...

I had my heel height adjusted, turn around was quick and the shoes came out great. I would definitely go back again & highly recommend.

I walk a lot and always wear down my heels so I'm constantly having to get them replaced. My usual shoe repair place shut down during Covid so I searched on Yelp for a new place. I also used the Yelp feature to ask how much it would cost and to schedule an appointment which was very convenient. I was a bit nervous because I truly love my boots and didn't know how the heel replacement would turn out. I regret not taking a before pic since the end result was great. The heel was replaced and it made my boots look like new. The owner was friendly and very efficient as he asked me when did I need the boots ready and I was able to pick them up the same day. I paid $20 to replace the heel which is very reasonable. I'm glad I found a new shoe repair shop!

I brought my boot today for repair since it was damage on the area were the shoe bend if you kneel down and he did a great job. Very friendly, explained very clear and the price was amazing. I'll come back again with the rest of my shoes.

They replaced the heel on my Allen Edmonds and shined the shoes. All for a very reasonable price. The guy was friendly and knowledgeable and we talked about different options for the heel. This is a great local business to support.

I have been coming to Pavlos Shoe repair for years and they are the only place I'll take my shoes to. They've done wonders for really beloved pairs that I have beaten up as well as fixing unusual issues.
Recently I took a pair of Balenciaga boots to them that I absolutely love but are no longer sold in stores; the boot's upper construction is made of this strange foam/fabric combo on the inside strap that had completely peeled away, looked horrible.
They were honest and told me they had never seen such a nice shoe made with odd material in this buckle part, and that trying to repair it would be pricy. I came in thinking that would be the case so was happy to pay but feel the price charged in the end was very reasonable and the outcome worth every penny. To be honest the new leather lining to the buckles feels way better quality than the original construction.
They also redid the soles for me again (I have beaten these shoes up), and the feel of the boot when walking is just as nice as the look.
