Good: friendly staff, showers, nice pool with lazy river. Good location, not too busy. Wifi is there, but maybe spotty. Clean rooms
Bad: breakfast is mainly starches, no fruit or anything hot. Rooms need updating, but they're not horrible. Shower head is low (not for tall people!), and tub is small (not for large people!).
Overall, the good outweighs the bad and we had a great experience. We had the "do not disturb" sign on our door all week since we didn't want maid service, and I was impressed that they left us clean towels outside the door!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brody H.Downtown, Nashville-Davidson metropolitan government (balance), TN056Nov 22, 2023
My room was okay, except the light was out in the vanity area.
Check in was suppose to be at 4, I stood in the lobby till after 4:30 waiting (no chairs). Finally got into my room close to 5.
The hot tub was NOT hot and the indoor pool was flat out freezing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yazmin A.Rogers, AR11825Mar 24, 2024

This hotel is absolutely revolting. Despite having stayed in some grim places before, this one takes the cake. We only endured it because we had booked four rooms for our extended family during the Rod Run weekend, leaving us with no alternative accommodations. The room was disgustingly dirty, with dust covering half the nightstand, old food and bottles hidden behind it, and a shower coated in mold. The faucet in the shower leaked continuously, and the bathroom's light covers were broken, with bulbs dangling precariously. Housekeeping only showed up on the day we were leaving, barging in without even a knock. Forget about the promised continental breakfast; it's nowhere to be found. Signs blaming ongoing renovations were plastered everywhere, yet there was no construction activity during our stay, consistent with reviews stretching back 18 months. The indoor pool situation was dire: broken elevators forced us to descend moldy staircases, and the pool area resembled a construction site with exposed pipes and blackened ceilings. The hot tub was non-functional, the water green, and the lazy river devoid of tubes, with stagnant water pooling on the concrete. Broken lights dangled over the water, and to top it off, we witnessed a police raid on the premises during our second day.

Trust me, WALK AWAY
A Hotel should offer you a room they would sleep in themselves, not blame you for not asking for a new room, but they will not offer a different room.
Shady Shanna, will make sure you were the problem.
Dirty bathroom
Sink Does not drain (at all)
Bed, you can feel the springs
Phone non working
Couch bed springs visible with disgusting stains.
Met couple who captured large bed bug, front office couldn't help, manager not available ,
Please county, inspect each room, (just for fun), hopefully make them refund every person who has been there.
Trust me, They can care less about you, they know it's an issue, and do not care,
Suggestion to owner,
Only rent out cleaned rooms, and slowly fix up the others.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jacki B.Johnson City, TN034Apr 2, 2024
I attempted to address our issues through hotels.com and directly to the hotel. It hasn't been resolved so I'll share our experience.
We come in and there is obviously construction and dust everywhere. Our room didn't even have a number placard on it, I just had to guess that was our room by numerical order. We checked in, got dinner and went to bed fairly late. There was a huge hole/divot on the left side of the king size bed in our room. I addressed it with hotel staff who said I didn't report it early enough in the day for them to fix it. We spent the day in the area and came back to the swim which my kids desperately wanted to do. We walked all the way down since the elevator is out of order and go towards the pool. The area just outside the door reeked of stale beer. Once in the pool area, the regular pool was quite cold so we opted for the lazy river which was pleasantly warm. We got in and started floating. I slowed my swimming and noticed all kinds of algae and biologic matter floating all around the pool. That in itself was disgusting. Then the light fixture in the pool itself detached and was floating in the pool. I alerted staff as I was concerned for the safety of the other people still in the pool. Then during the night I wake up at around 2am to find cockroaches in the bathroom. I took photos and immediately went to the front desk and called hotels.com. They offered to move rooms the next day but we were checking out. They are now ignoring my attempts to discussHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 14, 2022
I'm not sure why the lead photos for this hotel are of a nice, new Best Western, but the Park Tower Inn is not a Best Western and is not representative of the first handful of photos posted here on Yelp.
That said, while this hotel, much like any other hotel in the area, are all old and dated and in need of various repairs and maintenance, this is FAR from the worst hotel I've stayed at in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.
The front desk folks need a little help with friendly customer service, but the rooms were sufficient for a short stay and we were placed on the top floor (6th) and it had a very nice view of the Island right across the street.
Cleanliness is acceptable for the area and comparable hotels. Parking seemed safe and easily accessible one street over off the main strip, and overall, it was a decent visit. Nothing bad, nothing great. Just an ok hotel that doesn't break the bank if you're here visiting.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Layla B.Columbia, TN02Apr 5, 2024
