The lovely Rhonda helped us today and

Happy hour Monday - Friday 3-7 1/2 off raw oysters
      1$ off beer excludes draft

Wednesday additional all day half off wine including bottles

Saturday 12 -3 normal weekly happy hour

We got the oysters and they were amazing big and juicy with a nice mild flavor. The condiments were not ignored either. The horseradish was spicy like I like it and the cocktail sauce was just right!

      The crab claws were good

The Po boy was great, it came on a nice French bread with medium fresh quality shrimp.

As always my martini was the perfect paring with those fab oysters!

I liked this place so much that I ate here three days in a row. On the third day -- during Saturday's recent threat of flooding, tornadoes and hail -- I took the risk and went here anyway. It was worth it.

From the crab cake to the catfish fingers to the catfish fillets to the blackened snapper étouffée to the lemon pie to the cheesecake, yes, I ate a lot, I loved everything and I have no regrets.

My only challenge was the big portions right down to the gigantic glass of club soda. It took me three visits to figure out how to navigate the menu from that perspective. Now, that I'm an expert, I look forward to another visit to Birmingham and this unassuming restaurant on a suburbany strip that belies the goodness inside.

We stopped in here on a trip to Birmingham when I was craving some old fashioned, southern seafood. We came to the right place. It's tiny little restaurant/bar with great food. We both decided on the fried goodness and most definitely left stuffed. We sat 'outside' (which is really still inside) on the screened in porch and were served by a friendly waitress. There's a bar area and some seating when you walk in but the place to be is on the porch; especially when the bar isn't able to sell alcohol. There were a few larger parties of older ladies who seemed to be celebrating birthdays or something. I'm guessing this is the locals choice to spend a special occasion. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend stopping in. The portions are generous and the food is so good. My only suggestion would be not to bother with the onion ring upgrade; stick with the fries.

Avoid. Very VERY disappointing. The Sinner's Po Boy with "Gulf Oysters and Shrimp" had freakin POPCORN FROZEN SHRIMP and ONE maybe TWO tiny anemic oysters. Straight trash for the price. I'm not freakin 6 years old. Look at the pic - drowned in mayo. I'm a grown ass man paying $14 bucks for an awful cheap sandwich is agravating. The fries were undercooked. The unsweet tea was awesome.

The Deluxe seafood platter was ok. Shrimp were good. That is what i would expect for a "Gulf caught shrimp". The oysters were TINY. About the size of the popcorn shrimp. Catfish was good. Fries were garbage. Hush puppies - omg so dry and bad.

Sorry - ya'll need to work on stuff. I feel like i got gamed...

Decent little seafood restaurant in Trussville! We came for lunch on a Saturday and were seated near the bar. Nearly all seats were taken. They have a small seating area inside, but it's clean and the atmosphere is pleasant. I liked their choice in music and there were visible TVs around so we could watch the World Cup. The service was good, though my friend's raw oysters did take a long time to come out.

For an appetizer, we ordered the onion rings. They were perfectly fried and tasted delicious. I particularly liked their dipping sauce. For my main meal, I ordered the sinner's po-boy which was a mixture of fried shrimp and fried oysters. The seafood was good, but I was not a fan of their French bread. It tasted a bit stale. All around a good experience.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered 4 doz oysters, different types. All oysters were delicious. The staff here is the best: attentive, funny, and offering great suggestions. I love this place and will be back.

I had to wait a while and give this place a second try. So glad that I did! Initially when they opened, the place was way too small and the portions were small as well. The food wasn't memorable and I remember paper plates. This was when the first opened a few years back.

Here recently, I decided to give them another try because, first and foremost, I love seafood and I believe in second chances. So glad I did! There was a major reno to add space and more parking which is very helpful since it's still not a big lot. Also, this changes the atmosphere in my opinion and the service seems to be a lot more friendly and accommodating. We tried the baked oysters medley the first time and all were really tasty! They made me an instant fan of the restaurant. We sat at the bar and experienced the guy sucking oysters for platters... felt like I spot I like on Bourbon Street. The bartender was really good and made a drink for sis with her favorite flavors. Wasn't expecting that from a small place like this but it's awesome because it didn't require us to go downtown for the effort.

The second time I tried the Sinner's Po Boy which was outstanding! Oysters and shrimp on a great French bread... I also had the dozen raw oysters for happy hour... fresh and delicious for $9. So close to the house and I'm trying not to be addicted! Great little spot for good seafood.

I noticed this place over by the pinnacle and decided to try Parish seafood I saw that their sign isn't the biggest and you really have to watch out for or you will pass it. Its not the biggest place in town but I did like the atmosphere of the place and I'm glad I got here when they first opened to beat the lunch crowd. I choose to get their mix and platter where I got shrimp and catfish it also comes with hushpuppies, fries, and your choice of salad or coleslaw the catfish fish was really good and I enjoyed their shrimp too. I can't wait to come back and see what kind of drinks they have
