This is the simply the worst papa's and beer location I have ever been to.

If you like loud,-- road noise, interior noise and every clang and clatter of the kitchen, poor service and over salty Mexican.... Then this is the place for you.

The waitress did not know some of the liquors at her bar.
We ordered table side guac and it was not made at the table but rather back in the kitchen and brought out to us.

I ordered a mushroom quesadilla and it came with mushrooms onions and tomatoes

My dining companion ordered huervos rancheros
And it tasted like there was way too much excess salt.

Our waitress never waited a moment to see if we had any further questions as we had to flag her down for the check and to order.Then she left the check and ran away even though we left our credit card out to pay. We had to go find her and walk up to the bar and pay for our meal.

I do not leave many one star reviews but I will not return to this restaurant... I will make a special trip to the one on Haywood road.

Let's go for this ride!! Service is excellent! Medium beers is Hhhhhuuuggee!!! Tasty depends on what you get! I had Modelo dark draft!! Excellent choice by me.... chips a little too thick. Not to salty though.. Served with an odd bean dip considering most dishes have retried beans! Salsa bar so many many choices...Had chicken enchiladas the chicken tasted like it sat a long time in the warmer not in a good way...retried beans very nice... rice was over cooked and no spice or heat..lettuce fresh and not dripping wet with moisture . Pretty underwhelming but give it an OK if nothing else is available.. Great service...just needs some heat and spices...

I love the food! I've been to multiple locations in the area and the food is always consistent. The staff is always friendly. For sure a go to for Mexican.

First they served us chips with bean water not bean dip. It was gross. The salsa was either insanely hot or tasted like ketchup. I tried the carnitas fajita burrito. The veggies were cooked well but the meat had little flavor. I took it out of the burrito to make sure. The portions are enormous so if you are really hungry, you get a lot for the money. Small discount if you pay with cash-look at the bottom of your bill. Wait staff never smiles.

Shout out to another great meal at Papa's & Beer. Great service and good margaritas. I had the char broiled pollo tacos this time and they did not disappoint. I recommend Papa's & Beer. The fresh guacamole is delicious.

Always good service and food. Can't go wrong here. They might forget plates and silverware unless you ask

Fui cliente por mas de 16 Años de esta cadena de restaurantes y asta hoy ya que ordene camarones Al mojo de Ajo y me dieron camarones hervidos con calabazas sin sabor,mi chalan pidio agua de horchata y la dejo en entera ya que dise que Creo le llevaron sobras que alguien dejo por que a horchata no sabia..de nuestra parte no tienen una estrella,-

Awesome for casual Tex Mex. Not authentic but for cheap Mexican it's awesome! Reminds me of some of my favorite places. Salsa bar is fun and bean dip is awesome! Prices are fair and food is awesome! Not a place for authentic Mexican food but if you love Tex mex you'll love this place.

Excellent food at this location. Friendly staff. Always fresh. Bigger good proportion at this location. No of the other locations are like this one.

This is one of our favorite go to's for Mexican food. Service is always good and food is always great! When family and friends come to visit, we almost always end up here.
