Papa Johns Pizza

This place has only gotten worse with each visit. and what really killed me about this last visit is the cashier had the nerve to suggest I give them a tip for something I ordered and picked up. Not to mention how substandard the food was that I received. I come from a time when you actually have to either be serving my food or provide something really good and only after the above has been performed a tip would be justifiable. This is the last time I'll ever be a patron to this company, again. It shouldn't be a guessing game as to how an order will turn out. Waste of time and money.

Haven't ordered Papa Johns in a very long time. Decided to pick up carryout today after giving in to my craving for a Works Pizza And the NEW EPIC stuffed crust. Works was my usual flavor but the pizza dough was horrible. The bottom of the pizza was so flimpsy. Not done at all. The stuffed crust is about 1.5" in diameter... Way to big. Some of that dough needed to be at the bottom to help out the support. Epic Failure Papa Johns. Won't get it again. I should just go back to avoiding Papa Johns. Service at the counter was very friendly and greeted me as i walked in tbe door and i got what i ordered. So that is the only reason i gave them 3 stars.

Ordered a pepperoni & Italian sausage and a green pepper & Italian sausage thin crust. Delivery was estimated around 35 minutes. Delivered by door dash who made at least 1 extra stop. 1 hour and 15 minutes later it showed up cool. Worst thing it looked like some of the pepperonis had been picked off (1 pepperoni per slice was left literally) & it looked like indentions where more could have been. I would not order delivery again from here, maybe pick-up. Very disappointing.

I have been a pretty loyal Dominos guy for a long time. I'm a marketing guy by trade and appreciate good advertising and the new commercials for the "Shaqaroni" worked well enough to get me to try it. Seeing how I live in Jeffersonville (founding city of Papa Johns) and this was from store #1 I had all expectation of a great experience.
Loaded up the app and proceeded to place an order. Ordered one of the aforementioned Shaqaroni some jalapeño bread knots and a bbq chicken papadilo.
The delivery person was friendly. The food however was not. All items were not warm and the cutting of the pizza was not good. Slices were impossible to remove from each other. The pizza was undercooked also. Making the crust rubbery.
The papadio was also not cut thru either and was also not warm.
Guess I'll go back to old faithful DOMINOS for delivery pizza.
I replied to the automated request for feedback from PJ. Hopefully it will help them improve.
The ads with Shaq worked but the product didn't deliver an All Star performance. This pizza is being sent to the bench.

I called to ask if they could cut the heart shaped pizzas and the boy hung up on me after waiting 30 minutes on the phone for a answer! and when I called back and asked if they could cut the pizza or not he said I already f***ing told you we CANT
Then he gave the phone to a women who wanted to argue with me because I asked to speak to the manager I then spoke to the manager and she said I'll talk to him: I said okay thank you what was his name (so I could call corporate) and she said I don't know who you talked to ( then how would you talk to him about how he is being to customers?) hmmm I was just like okay!

Then when my delivery driver gets here with my food she's smoking a big fat blunt and blows it into my house and the smell is lingering on my food.
Now I don't care if your smoking that's on you but don't ever do it when you have someone's food with you!
It's just pathetic won't be ordering from here EVER again.

the pizza was cold when it was delivered we order it with sausage and didn't get any charge me $ 22.00 for a crappy pizza we have not purchased a pizza from papa John's in 10 years and I will not purchase another one again

Well, now I'm going to have to find a new pizza place.I don't know what Papa John's has done to their crust, but it's like chewing cardboard, there was hardly any sauce on it. I have concluded that Little Caesar is now better than Papa John's! They need to get John Schnatter back in there before they run the company in the ground. The crust does not make a better pizza anymore.

Let's just skip over the whole thing about the actual guy Papa John, okay? And as I've said before, sure, it's better when we shop local. Chains are inherently less interesting than one-offs. But sometimes we stray from that path. I like nearly every kind of pizza under the sun. And that includes Papa John's. It's reliable and a very solid chain pizza. And this location has a lunch buffet! What's better than that?

Please have your drivers not have there music blaring as they drive down customer streets. Not professional. Then the idiot,in red suv, pulls into a different neighbors home, 80 year old lady house, to turn around instead just going down street.

Not safe driving practices and very annoying music after dark.

Look, as far as the actual food goes it's a Papa Johns and tastes like what every other Papa Johns tastes like every other time you've had Papa Johns. BUT whoever they have answering the phone and taking delivery orders is the most competent, hospitality driven individual I've ever encountered. She asks you how your day is. She politely takes you through your order and she calls you by your first name as she does it. Kind. Polite. Detail Oriented. Completely professional. I can't believe I didn't catch her name. But they need to pay this lady. They need to get her her own Papa Johns. They need to make her Papa John.
