Chorizo & eggs
Fairly bland
Some pico de Gallo
Would have been nice.
Runny black beans
Would have preferred pinto beans.
They had very very thick tortillas.
A carb nightmare.
My grandma made very light thin tortillas. I know it's possible.
One unbelievable thing for any kitchen is not to have butter!
But no butter for my tortillas.
Nor any real cream for coffee.
Just artificial chemical powder.
There was only one other person seated. Should have been a clue.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Genny R.Redwood City, CA057100Nov 20, 2022
Good food, never disappoints! So far Everything we have tried is delicious! The breakfast dishes & atole de arroz are a must try!

This place was recommended but a guy from Big O tires, while I was getting my oil changed. I must say that this place had some really good food...I have the chorizo and eggs with a side of plantains and beans...the tortillas are fresh and hime made...so if you're looking for a good meal stop on in and grab a plate...

Value is good, I think, and they have managed to stay open during the pandemic, which says a lot. It's not as good as the food I've sampled when I was actually in Guatemala, but those were home cooked meals, so it's maybe unfair to compare!

I hate doing this because I love my fellow Guatemalans and always hope their business always prosper. With that being said, the bread was whack. I thought it would be fresh but it was already hardened. On top of that, the chorizo was burnt and it didn't seem fresh at all. I just hope they step their game up because I would love for them to keep having business but with how a simple plate of chorizo con huevos came out awful....that says a lot!

I went with the cashiers recommendation to get the Charrano steak (meal #22) and it was delicious!!! If I had known it came with a few plantains as well I wouldn't have ordered a full plate of them, but I wanted to try them. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

The food is good but the downside is that it takes so long to be served and other people got their food first but they were nice pretty good

I thought this was just a Guatemalan bakery but it turns out they're a full restaurant. That's a rare thing as the only other Guatemalan place I know is in San Mateo. Got a Chevere for a quick late lunch. The Guatemalan style hot dog with avocado, lettuce, ketchup and mayo. Pretty solid. They have ribs, stews, fried fish, an actually decent sized menu. Defininitely will be back so I can try more of their fare
