We are a modern twist on Caribbean / Antillean (Creole) food... with emphasis on our Cuban roots. We we put on the map by the following menu items: The 3 MOST popular Cuban Sandwiches in the country; the "Balsero", the "Marielito" and the Cuidadano". We also have a pretty cutting edge "Media Noche"... as well as any of the above made with chicken, instead of pork. The "NiCE" drinks; Home made NiCE tea, lemonade, half & half (a blend of both... our version of the "Arnold Palmer"), Tang and Kool-Aid of all things. AMAZING milk shakes and smoothies... made the from the most exotic tropical fruits. Even though its NOT on the menu... we make the BEST / 2nd to NONE "Morir Soñando" on the planet. But, you have to be in the "know" to have one made for you. Munchies; The TASTIEST empanadas (patties / stuffed patties), croquettes, stuffed potato balls, etc. Oh yeah, the ELITE of Cuban appetizers, soups, rice, steaks, chops, casseroles and other entrees. FINALLY... DESSERT

I found this place too late. The owner told me he was selling and going to Miami to get a Food Truck by SoBe.
Wish him luck as his sandwiches are delicious.
I'll look for his food truck in Miami next time I visitHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marlon H.Union City, NJ5781Jan 27, 2015
I have been craving to taste a great tasting cuban sandwich in this area, and i think i found one. Pan Con Todo is the place to go if you wanna taste real cuban cuisine. I had a cuban sanwich and it was absolutely delicious. The pork was full of flavor, cheese was completely melted and the second I had my first bite, i felt satisfied. My wife had the churrasco which was cooked in mojo i think because it tasted different from a normal churrasco (not that its a bad thing, just unique.) We also had the yuca w/ mojo which was very good too.
The only things i might correct as the owner would be the maduros because they were a bit dry. Service was great (waitress was very pleasing and welcoming, and not too jolly, which is good.), but next time lets have everyones food out at once lol.
Besides that, PCT is absolutely a great great great place to go if your craving cuban food and I dare anyone to argue with me about that. I know great food and trust me, you'll love it hear. :)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dewan A.Haledon, NJ74619232089Sep 13, 2016
Excellent.
1) Best Cuban sandwiches around. Must try.
2) Must get the tres leches and quarto leches.
3) Try their watermelon juice, fantastic.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jan 31, 2010
Fake palm trees, Cuban flags and salsa music in the background is the right way to get people in the mood for some good food.
They make a great churrasco here with plenty of sides to choose from. I also had a chicken gorden bleu here, that was extremely large in portions and very Delicious.
Their deserts are fresh and taste homemade. I recommend the tres leches to go after you digest your 12 -lb entree.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Oct 8, 2009
I love this place. Came here with a large party--90% of whom did not know anything about Cuban food (they equate all latin american food with Mexican). This is as authentic as it gets!
I am Dominican with a lot of Cuban family, and this restaurant really hits the spot for that authentic Cuban food craving.
Everyone I was with really enjoyed everything, too.
I stand by saying that the Cuban Steak sandwiches beat any philly cheesesteak sandwich. Delicious tres leches cake and flan!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nadia B.NJ, NJ5522641165Dec 29, 2016
Just had lunch here and it was delicious. Ordered the Churasco and it was cut up for me. I've never had precut Churasco before but this one was well seasoned and I enjoyed every bite. Took a tres leches to go. Can't wait to enjoy that after dinner tonight.

Not happy with the wait time. Got to the restaurant at 1:45, ordered at 2 pm & now it's 3 o'clock & still waiting. Only 3 people working the whole restaurant, the chef and 2 waiters. Unbelievable!!!!!

Great food, good music and awesome service this place is a hidden gem. A
Must go in this city, forced charged me an 18% tip for three people that's not cool man. Would've tipped regularly but that's just uncalled for with no prior notice 3/5 won't stay to eat again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle O.Woodbridge Township, NJ8821457Sep 18, 2016
3.5 to 4 stars.
Really wonderful service. Our server was friendly and attentive.
We got the watermelon juice which was fun; it was served in a huge container; the same kind that's given with a large soup order at a takeout restaurant.
Food was good. I ordered the large beef soup and was disappointed to see how sparce it was. 3 little pieces of soup, a few potatoes, and mostly broth. The yuca fries were my favorite.
The chicken and rice and beans were yummy too. All in all, a good place. Just not spectacular.
Ambiance is fun and festive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steve A.Union City, NJ2273Jan 6, 2017
Christie and Danny are the greatest ! They treat you as family when you walk in the restaurant. The food selection is fresh and hot! From my favorite soups, fresh vegetables, the sautéed onions, and sweet plantains! Pan con todo is my #1 favorite restaurant in Union City NJ, great location near the light rail and right on Bergenline! The place is very clean and has great artwork in the building. Thank you for the many years of feeding me !!
