Palmilla Apartments

This apartment complex is the worst place to live. My ceiling caved in and all they did was put a piece of plastic up there to fix it and no one has came to seal the hole up or fix it. The management office is never open, and the entire staff that was in the office are all gone. They never keep the same people for long. I have complained about maintenance issues since 2 yrs ago and still no one has came to fix anything in my apartment. When my tub was stopped up I fixed it myself. And it's still stopped up bc they have a bad plumbing issue in these apartments. When I spoke with the office manager she said if I didn't like it to move. She is very rude and unprofessional! She hides behind the security guard that they hired because the tenants were complaining so much about issues in their homes that they do not and have not repaired. Drucker and Falk is the company name. They don't care about their tenants and that's just a slum lord to me. They let duck poop stay all over the sidewalks. Disgusting and unsatisfactory!

Property manager, "Tyeisha"/"Tymeisha" whatever her name is... she is very rude and downright NASTY! I put in a maintenance request on Tuesday 11/30 Bc my refrigerator is NOT WORKING properly. All of my groceries are spoiled. It is 12/10 and I still have not seen or heard from maintenance. I called them on Monday to figure out when they were coming and she said they had to handle maintenance requests in the order they receive them. She said maintenance could enter my apartment while I was at work but I do not feel comfortable with STRANGERS entering my house with my belongings I've worked hard for without me there. Plus I have pets and just did not feel comfortable with that option. I informed her that I would be off Thursday and Friday. Yesterday heard nothing. Called this am and they said "Ms Krise we've already had this discussion. We will get to you when we get to you." I have been without a functioning refrigerator since NOVEMBER 30th. I also reported that my tub was not draining properly. They don't seem to care. I contacted the corporate office and am waiting to hear back from them or maintenance. Do not move here. Besides my issues stated above, the neighborhood is nasty. They don't clean the common areas in the buildings. The "amenities" (dog park, playground, pool) are awful.. destroyed and un kept. I've resided her for almost 2 years and the pool has never been opened. The office is "permanently" closed from the public. So no gym either. There is trash everywhere. Dumpsters always overflowing.. it's ridiculous.

This is the worst Apartments to live in especially if you have kids. Shootings every other week, police officers patrolling the complex, and don't get me started on the management. This place has been under management more than anything between 2016-2018. Mold on the ceilings from the weather, cracked ceilings, and cracked tile. The ppl in the office doesn't keep up with your rent. Some past workers have been fired for stealing money out of ppl's rent. Maintenance doesn't do anything but drive in their golf carts pretending to do something. When you ask for something to be fix they give you an attitude, don't log it in their system, and ask when's the last time somebody paid rent. An apartment complex should never ask their tenants when they've paid rent or ask to show proof of recipients. It's not acceptable. Don't ever live here. Take your money elsewhere.
