Paint the Towne

My husband booked a couples class for my birthday last month (June 2015) and I was so excited to finally experience an art class together! I am not a fan that they allow alcohol to be brought in and consumed and I also wasn't a huge fan of our painting instructor, or whatever she is called. Her name was Riley (sp), she told us repeatedly that she was still new to this and by the time that we were finished with our painting (although, very beautiful and fun), it looked nothing like the painting that we were supposedly coping. It was a fun class nonetheless and I hope to go back again - Not for the environment or atmosphere or crowd but purely for the painting that we get to hang up in our house.

My group has been to an open class as well as 2 private parties at the West location. My daughter had a private, birthday party for 8 year olds at the East location last year. I've been very satisfied with the venue, instruction, and customer service. I did feel a bit rushed with the paintings - could have used another 30 minutes instead of just 1 1/2-2 hours for each painting. Other than that, it's a great experience! Private parties and open classes are much more affordable at this BYOB/Painting classes than the other similar business in Oldtown as well as the one that travels to different bars/restaurants where you have to purchase your drinks from the venue. We'll definitely be back!

It's tough to write much of a review because we could never get anyone to return our messages. We tried to book a private party for a group from Koch Industries. We tried leaving phone messgaes, using the online e-mail from the website, filling out an online reservation form and over the course of 3 weeks we never received any response.

So we booked a creative party at Color Me Mine who had the customer service you would expect from a company trying to build business
