Paducah Area Transit System

Review is specific to the Inter-City service.

I had to arrange a one-way ride out to just outside Benton, and *really* didn't want to use the sole taxi service. A call to PATS (though disconnected twice; apparently the shuttle service is new, and few ask to go out to Benton Highway as I did) got me setup for the nearly one hour ride... for $20. A bargain!

My driver was fantastic, and when I'd commented on the price he mentioned the service is starting up (which in my mind, translated out to be things would cost more as the kinks work out -- though aside from the disconnected calls, there were none).

The driver picked me up at the Paducah airport (and arrived 15 minutes earlier than I'd requested, even better as it was a no-hassle walk from the plane to the front door), and about 60 minutes later I was at my destination. Doesn't get any better than that!
