The Paddlesworth Arms is the oldest pub in the village and is managed by the charismatic Jimmy Crowhurst. Jimmy's the type of English gentleman, that is all too rare today. The Paddlesworth Arms is more than just a pub, it is the centre of village life (along with the church). It has a traditional thatched roof, one of the last in the region. Whether it is Peter Muddle's speed dating or Josey Barge's karaoke, there is always something going on at the Arms. Furthermore, the gimlets are to die for.
