Time to re-up my review of Pad Thai - stopped in again over the weekend. We each ordered Pad Thai - Chicken, Shrimp, & Beef (all 'mild') and each order was a fantabulous thumps-up (including my picky daughter). Also had the aptly named Fresh Rolls & the Tom Kha soup (LOVE that stuff) - as usual, they knocked it out of the park! As I've come to expect, the service was stellar - with everything coming quickly. Even though the restaurant was busy (Saturday evening), the overall ambience was still quiet & cozy.
If ya love Thai - this is the place for you!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 14, 2022Previous reviewI gotta love a placed that takes its name from a favorite dish. One of the lunch specials for a long time has been 'Triple Pad Thai' with chicken, beef, shrimp - AWEsome! Recently I decided to try their Drunken noodles (with Beef) and it was great as well! Have ordered it twice since! I've tried a few other things on the menu & loved them all.
Restaurant itself is very cozy & the service has always been snappy - I tend to have lunch there the most often & it's easy to get in & out in less than an hour if you want to do so. Have also visited for dinner & it is also great to sit back & unwind during your meal.
Staff has always been great at checking in during the course of the meal & they keep the place spotless.

Just recently visited again and it's still amazing! Their food is just so flavorful. It's definitely worth every dollar. It's very affordable as well, which is hard to find these days

Thai food can be very expensive in general, but the prices here really are not too bad. The food is actually quite amazing, very flavorful, and good! Went for lunch and the portions were very good sizes for lunch!

I went to Pad Thai for lunch and the place was quite busy. Lunch menus have decent options and it came with a complimentary coconut soup, which is quite delicious btw.
I ordered Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodle) and spring rolls. Spring rolls are small, but do have a homemade taste to them. I love their Pad Khee Mao, it's so hard to find a place that serve flat rice noodle, and this dish from Pad Thai totally satisfy my craving. The flavor was spot on, it was actually spicy. The beef has good seasoning and also quite tender. I'm actually excited to try their other dishes next time. Lunch menu prices are aso reasonable!
The lady who served us was friendly and quick, she ran the whole place herself but the food came out quick, drinks are always full, and she was smiling the whole time. Just overall, good service!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2612525618Dec 4, 2022
This place was a very nice & cozy Thai restaurant. My Framily and I enjoyed our time dining here.
There was a food option for everyone. Those who ate meat and those who didn't.
I got the Tom Kha Kai soup and it hit just the spot. I also got a boba drink sans the boba. It was a pretty sweet treat.
At first the manager/owner didn't want to honor the 10% off, our entire order, check in deal they have here on their Yelp page. But after we kept showing her the deal listed she finally edited our bill. Usually we see how they handle such situations and that can determine if we just add that back onto the tip or not. It wasn't the servers decision so we didn't hold that against her & tipped accordingly.
I'd love to have a return visit someday.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mae F.Harrisburg, PA167361754Feb 19, 2023
I really did not expect much from a Thai restaurant in a suburban shopping center, but the food was absolutely fantastic. It definitely rivals some of the best Thai food that I've had in D.C., Bethesda, and Philly.
I ordered the Beef Pad See Ew at the medium spice level after seeing it recommended many times in the restaurant's Yelp reviews. I typically go with Pork Pad See Ew, but I didn't want the meat to be too dry and that can sometimes be an issue with pork. The sauce was a perfect balance of savory and sweet, and the rice noodles and Chinese broccoli were tender. I would have liked for the beef to be a bit more tender, but I was happy with the flavor. I doubled the beef for $2.00, but realized after receiving it, that it would have been perfectly fine with the standard amount of beef.
The total for my portion of the order came to about $20 with tip. My husband and I are so happy to have found a Thai place nearby. We plan to have a date night here soon!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Claudio C.Kenner, LA331Nov 8, 2023
Have a decent lunch menu and the food is delicious. Love my food super hot and they make it that way. Beware if you order your meal Thai Hot, if not used to the heat.

We've been going since Pad Thai opened. We find it very hard to find decent Thai restaurants throughout Cumberland, Lancaster, and Berks counties.
Fortunately, Pad Thai stands apart. The Pad Thai is my wife's very favorite dish and this is the only place that prepares it authentically and delicious.
We can make a meal out of the Emerald Dumplings alone. I would point out that we went to Chinatown NYC a few years ago looking forward to the dim sums. Pad Thai's Emerald Dumplings were 1000% better than anything we ordered in NYC.
I usually order the tofu and ask for it "Thai Hot", and does it come out hot!! I love it!!!
On top of all this, the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 19, 2022
I love my Thai. I've got a few places I've frequented many times. Heard good things about this spot ... and finally got a chance to try it out. I was not disappointed.
Tasty goodness with generous portions. Great service ... highly recommended!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bruce T.Mechanicsburg, PA014Aug 14, 2023
Tucked away in a small "strip mall" on Carlisle Pike is a Thai food restaurant just waiting to surprise you. If not for my wife's suggestion, I would never have found this place. Physically modest & unremarkable, the restaurant is clean 8 quiet. The biggest surprise is the food! I was not a Thai food fan until our recent "date night" visit. Excellent food...good service...quiet, clean ambiance.
We'll be back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Richard T.PA, PA02Jan 6, 2024
We have been customers of Pad Thai since they opened. The food is true Thai and the menu is extensive. I am a strict vegetarian and, while there is a vegetarian section on the menu, they will customize many other menu options to meet my dietary needs. I like a little Thai heat but my partner likes her dishes mild - never a problem, and always prepared as we have asked. We have tried the other Thai restaurant in the Gateway Plaza on the Carlisle Pike and, for us, there is no comparison in terms of authenticity, atmosphere, and service. Pad Thai is a much more welcoming restaurant, and the owner is so sweet and hands-on. The fact that it's a BYOB is a real plus. You won't be disappointed!
