My first Parasailing ever. I found this great deal on Groupon and glad I had awesome experience. The staff were friendly. Only 4 star because I felt the flight was too short, and the picture on sd card that came with the deal weren't that good.

Visiting from San Diego and as a birthday gift from my mother and brother, I was given the gift of parasailing. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience with pacific parasail. Though I was somewhat put off by the fact that my family paid $267 for 3 adults to go 1000ft and charged $40 for 2 seniors to stay in the boat and watch, along with a $20 photo card. It was defiantly costly. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable & courteous. We will definitely do it again if the price was right!! I highly recommend Pacific Parasail offering groupon or living social deal, if you aren't already.
THANKS AGAIN for the memories! A tremendous amount of fun!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tyler H.Tacoma, WA8843Aug 2, 2015
I genuinely enjoyed my flight experience, and the sincerity of the crew. If you're looking for an fun activity that you'll never forget, fly Pacific Parasail!

Worst experience ever I went its a dirty old boat and old equipment also very cramped on boat. The guys running the stand were unprofessional . I had my sister who is scared of heights come and she said "I'm scared I don't wanna die " ! The guy who is hooking up to parasail says "don't worry you will die" it was a joke but still rude ! WORST PART We were in the air for 10 min we went from the dock at 3:00 came back 3:25 worst way to spend 80$ DO SOMETHING ELSE !

We went yesterday and it was really fun! I'm not afraid of heights but there's definitely some fear there when you realize that all that's holding you up is a pretty skinny rope. Their hours are 11am-8pm with trips on the hour, and they recommend reservations (by phone or in person), however, we walked up at 12:15 on a Thursday and got squeezed in at 12:30 before their next reservation. They put up to 6 people on the boat, up to 3 flights per trip, so if your boat is full, you could be out on the water for up to an hour. We were the only flyers on our trip out so it was only about 30 minutes. We were in the air for 15 minutes. I paid for the 600 ft but evidently they gave us the more expensive 1000 ft experience, which really is high. The Space Needle is 605 ft tall, and they say that with the 1000 ft rope, you are 150 ft taller than the Space Needle. I think 600 ft would be more leisurely/fun. 1000 ft was a little scary for me! I recommend doing the toe dip if they ask. Bring cash for tips if you like your guides. I am a military dependent and they gave me their $10 off military discount, which was nice. You can also have non-flyer guests with you on the boat, but they charge $20 per adult or $10 per kid. Kids age 5-10 are free with each paying adult, which is awesome. Kids must fly with an adult. They can put two kids up with one adult, or two adults with a kid together. They also sell a photo package but my recommendation would be to go with friends so you can take photos/video of each other. If you take your camera/phone up in the air with you, make sure it's secured on a lanyard or wristlet. The guides were experienced and professional, and great with kids. The boat was clean and comfortable. The only reason for four stars instead of five is I wish there was more info on their website (on what to expect, what to wear, explain the deal with kids, etc.), ability to make online reservations, and maybe a groupon deal or a promo day so you could afford to go more often. At the current price, it's definitely something to do on a special occasion, but my 6 year old now wants to go all the time!
