Life Storage - Las Vegas

From Kasia who provided professional, kind and welcoming assistance when I was first inquiring about a unit to actually locking me then in on a unit a week or so later, to Rick who helped me out of a jam when I was not understanding and challenged by my lock right when it was nighttime and he was closing up shop, I have experienced nothing but good, kind, helpful people working at this location.

Prices might be a touch on the higher side if you are comparing to other places around the valley, but in addition to friendly staff, you are paying for the location for sure. I feel this facility is safe, having converted all storage unit key locks to a cylinder locks at all Life Storage facilities and well lit at night. I am confident in my choice of choosing this location to store our extra possessions.

Prices and your contract go "month to month" and there is no pro-rated rent for moving out early. You then are not locked in for a long period of time, if you only need it for a short period of time. There was a special running for half off the first three months. I walked in to secure my unit, but you can book on-line as well. I think special discount offers can vary.

Also note, that the units on the main building are basically "swamp cooler cooled, not air conditioned," but the units not attached to the main building do not have any temperature control because they are not attached to the main building. I think I am correct about this and might make a difference based on what you are storing.

I have rented a storage unit from Life Storage before, at another location here in town. There are a lot of Life Storage facilities all over Las Vegas, if you had not noticed. This facility here on Hualapai was owned by another company and became a Life Storage a few months back. Having had a good experience at the other location I rented from prior, I was glad to see this place become a Life Storage, very conveniently located to my Summerlin life and did not hesitate to reach out to them when I was looking for storage again.

Fully confident in Life Storage here on Hualapai and would not hesitate to refer anyone to this location for their storage needs.

I have 4 storage units through Life Storage and have never seen such poor customer service in my life. Apparently they only train their staff to be bitchy, inconsiderate, and to and to have poor communication skills. Regardless of how much money you have spent on units- they will add on late fees (even if your account says up to date) after one day, and then tell you they won't waive it. After spending two days getting transferred to "higher-ups" they will still continue to provide you with no solution & basically tell you to fuck off.

They don't care- I'd find someone else.

Kasha, is at the front desk and she is so wonderful and professional. She provides you with all the helpful information you need. She is personable and very nice. The facility is new and clean. When we pulled up after a 10 hour drive our unit was ready and had a welcome package inside. It was very thoughtful to have the lock and some mints. We completed our process online and everything went smoothly. You'll need to go inside to get the updated code so get there before she leaves at 5 pm. The unit was clean and very big. The facility also provides carts to put your boxes on to help with unloading. I would recommend this storage facility to anyone. It's also in a great part of town so we felt safe being there.

The allure of a promotional price per month, a 10x20 for $175 for 3 months, is what drew me to Life Storage on Hualapai in the first place. Unfortunately, the price increased to $322. Almost 100% increase. I had to bring my own insurance for my belongings or use theirs, Xercor. I took their insurance at $14 per month. $336 per month for a 10x20 space. I know, I know, I signed it. I intended to move out sooner, but got caught up with the convenience of keeping it and no one to help me move all of my stuff out. In addition to this, you'll be forced to buy one of their circular locks which currently run at $33. I also had to pay a one-time $25 fee up front to the manager. Okay now, what is prompting this review....I was late with payment and last night, paid 10 days after the due date. I was charged $108. 20% plus whatever else they charged for being late. $430.40! I did the right thing and made the payment online. The ONLY payment choices were to pay the full fee of $430.40...or more. I paid what was due. Stroke of luck, I have help this next morning and am on a vacation day so I'm moving out today, on the 11th day. I have been told that there is no prorated rate of repayment. I get nothing back for moving out 11 days into the month. Regardless of whether this is typical or not, the charge is absolutely excessive. The rent is excessive. On the plus side, the facility's office smells nice. However, I recommend other facilities that will work with you. This was not worth it. I needed the facility, but WOW! $1,334 later (after the promotional price ended) and I have renter's remorse. Hence the 2 out of 5 stars. I am just sharing to inform you. I hope this helps you make your own decision.

Perfect service, exactly as promised. Secure, good staff, cooled storages units, etc. I kept a variety of items including delicate pieces in there for over a year without any issues. The move in and out processes were smooth and efficient. I frequently moved items in and out of the unit during my rental time and again never had any issues. Highly recommend!

Looked at several storage places in the area, Rick (store manager) gave us a tour of the facility where I'll park my travel trailer, he was informative, patient, a pleasure to deal with. The price was competitive to the area, but we chose Life Storage solely because of Mr. O'Sullivan!

Rick the store manager was amazing! The facility is so so clean and has great security monitoring. He was able to accommodate all of my needs. He honored the online discounts that I inquired about. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a great deal and a great space.

This is one of the cleanest storage facilities I've been too by far! Rick, the office manager, was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
