Always a great place ti grab great breakfast items and drinks.
Fast paced coffee joint but relaxing if decide to eat in.
And vegan options!

Great coffee, great food, the app allows you to preorder which is awesome. One of my favorite places to have breakfast. Always consistently good.

Gregory's Coffee (485 Madison Avenue) makes their own baked pastries and the coffee is very good. Each location has a neighborhood coffee house feel. I like to walk down Madison Avenue to this location.
Gregory's is like going to your local Starbucks but with much much better food choices! I like to spend time in this neighborhood. I always get a coffee and my favorite pastry is the Jalapeño Cheddar Scone! I like to take the scone home for breakfast the next day.
I've never had a problem with customer service at this location. I'm not hard to please.

Nice little coffee shop with good (if not mind blowing) espresso and breakfast options.

Came here since it was the closest coffee shop to our hotel (which inexplicably didn't have any way to make coffee in the room). The double espresso was fruity and a bit acidic and not at all burnt, which is well-above-average. The cortado was clean, but not quite as good as the espresso.

I also got breakfast for the family with a blueberry muffin, chocolate croissant, vegan sausage croissant, and vegan sausage breakfast burrito. I would have rather had the non-vegan option, but they didn't have it. Still the breakfast burrito was hot and yummy with a bit of salsa and potatoes. My wife liked the sausage croissant more, but I felt like it was a bit bland.

The kids picked at the pastries, but that says more about them than the pastries.

Overall, the place delivered, but didn't knock my socks off.

I would rate this a "Minus Number" score if it were an option. A minus is not an option rating. The same way that good consistent service and good consistent coffee are not an option at Gregory's anywhere around midtown. You walk in these places and it's as though you owe the workers, there, something (Similar to United States Postal Servies and DMV). They treat you as though they are doing you a favor. It's not enough you are paying $6+ for your drink, only to throw out later in the office trash can.
You are at the mercy of the employee (individual) for being welcomed or for having a good coffee.

Pretty average coffee spot right near my office. I recently tried their Nutella cold brew which was a bit too sweet for me, but I would still choose it over Starbucks.

My office recently moved and so grateful we have a Gregory's so close! I'm definitely a "Gregular" that enjoys the Fall Oat Boy and cold brew. Always use the mobile app here!

It was OK the coffe was mid and expensive the smoothie is ok but very expensive for both of these bevs

When Gregory's first opened they were honest and true to their word - I just walked into the store off Madison Ave to be told they were 'closed' 15 mins before actually closing. While I appreciate they need time to clean up, they should still serve customers up and until closing time.
Very disappointed.

First off, entrance is Around the Corner on 52nd Street (NOT on Madison). So very confusing, if you've never been there, and are going by their official address.

While the pictures suggest this place might be a 'coffeeshop'...sorta like Joe's Coffee or something, I'd say Gregory's is more along the line of a Starbucks. It FEELS like a chain. The decor is nothing special...the music inside a bit too loud.

I will say the coffee was good though.

Also, they should RE-design the front door, which requires customers to PULL (vs Push) the door, in order to Exit. Gee, maybe not the wisest door installation, and for a place that sells HOT liquids? Common sense would be that Exiting customers should be able to Push the door open, vs having to Pull (which is much harder) and when your hand/hands may be full of a cup or two of hot coffee.
