Outpost Pizza - Stamford

If you want some of the best wings in the area this is it. The dry rub ones are amazing- spicy, not loaded with sauce, and not greasy. The pizza is great as well. There's something just different about the sauce or cheese- but no matter what kind you get it's great every time. My husband is gluten free- this is his go to for the gluten free crust because it's always hard. Recommend just on these two things alone!

Very dissatisfied with Outpost! I'm a regular there and they know that I probably order from them 1-2 times a week. Last night I ordered through slice and it was a huge order. Spent over 60$. My husband and I start eating the food and I'm yearning through my hot oil pizza half way through the slice I take a bite and I see a white hair. So I'm thinking maybe it's cheese so I try to pull it! Nope it's hair. Now I'm pissed and don't even want to finish the food! Matter fact I didn't even finish the food!

I'm sorry there is no excuse for this! Are you guys wearing hair net? Are you scratching your head while making my food? My hair is dark brown so it wasn't mines. They have lost my service! And I want to be reimbursed!

On top of that look at the chicken wings' that's not even a wing! What's going on? There is no way I spend this type of money and I'm getting shitty food! Finding hair is so unsanitary, that leads me to think what else are they doing not wearing gloves during the cooking process!

Thanks outpost you lost a customer! Forever! This is the second place in stamford where I've had food in my damn food! Them and Buffalo Wild Wings!

I'll start by saying I love that everything is priced accordingly. My favs from here are the steak and cheese, the west side chicken, and the chicken and broccoli Alfredo with linguine noodles YUMMMYYY. The pasta comes with a side of 2 small bread buns which get you really full. If you like mushrooms and onions the Frank Sinatra is a must try too. I Definitely recommend - and their customer service is A1!

I love Outposts Pizza and have been ordering from them every few months for about 15 years. They are always fast, friendly, and their food is surprisingly affordable for what you get.
They have a pretty decent selection and everything I've tried has been great. All their wraps are top notch but my go-to is their buffalo chicken wrap. And their chicken and broccoli alfredo pasta is no slouch either.
And I don't say this lightly, but they have the best french fries in Connecticut. They're always crispy and about double the diameter of those sorry things McDonalds calls fries. It's not like they're known for their fries, they're just an underrated bonus!
The owners and employees are super friendly and quick to greet you when you walk in. Parking can be a little tight but they have a small lot behind the business. It's conveniently right off exit 6 for picking up take-out after a long day.

Some of the better pizza in Stamford. Definitely more NY style than New Haven style, they have a nice thin crust and good flavor. The hot oil pizza is New York style with oil, not the crispy style you get at Riko's. This place is very clean. The staff is wonderful and kind.

The food is delicious. Prices are fair and staff is super friendly! The menu has a great selection to satisfy any craving. I particularly enjoy the chicken souvlaki

I ordered a take-out pizza , half mushroom. They said a wait time is 15 mins. I waited inside for my order to be cooked. When I brought my pizza home, it was cold. It looked like they pre-made it before and thru on some mushrooms. The mushroom fell off the slice of pizza when my kid tilted it. When I spoke w the owner he yelled at me and said that he gave me a hot pizza. I didn't want him to give me a different pizza that was actually made while I was waiting but I really wanted an apology. In stead the Albanian guy yelled at me and told me that he doesn't have time for me. Very upsetting experience. I guess no more outpost pizza for us.

Ok so the pizza slice is hella big and it's ok, although the service could be a whole lot better; I say this because I am a regular customer of the establishment and I asked to use the bathroom. They lied and told me it didn't work. I left to go get something in my car and I came back; why was someone just finishing up using the bathroom? And like I said, the slices are big but not the best. There is way better pizza around. I haven't returned since this incident.

Just ordered myself a last minute lunch of fish and chips and I was pleasantly surprised. The chips and the fish arrived crisp with a generous serving of tartar sauce. Now it's breaded fish flounder at that not your typical English, fish and chips which is cod and a beer batter but quite delicious
