I frequent here with my family every few weeks, and am not disappointed. Love the brown bread. We waited about 25 min on a Friday night for a large party, and were able to get drinks at the bar while waiting.
-Ribeye (5/5) - I always get it cooked medium, and really this one never misses. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, an excellent cut of meat.
-Loaded baked potato (5/5)
-Baked potato soup (5/5)
-Chocolate Thunder from down under (5/5) - best dessert, warm melty brownie with vanilla ice cream at the top
Service is consistently friendly and pleasant. It does get busy during peak times on weekends, so just expect that if you'll be visiting around those times. I look forward to coming here every time!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Isabella A.Berkeley, CA1277Apr 6, 2024

This is my first time ever at an outback and I've been meaning to try this for a long time! We got seated very quickly and the servers were very friendly and took away finished plates super quickly. The only complaint is that the place smells kind of damp and had a small stench.
I ordered the ribeye combo with the shrimp, which comes with two sides! The steak was cooked perfectly, it was tender and juicy. The sauce was delicious as well! sweet, tangy and had a hint of horseradish. the mac and cheese was pretty good and tasted homemade with a bunch of cheese! a little bit of truffle oil would've topped it off! The potato soup was creamy and full of ingredients but was super salty(at least to my liking).Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 21, 2024
Beau and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Outback, one of our favorites when we're craving a quick bite before the gym. We kicked off our meal with the delightful warm bread and butter, a simple yet yummy start that set the tone for our late lunch.
For our main courses, he opted for the medium-rare steak, a decision that proved to be spot-on. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a succulent and flavorful taste that showcased the chef's expertise. The highlight was the temperature - the steak arrived wonderfully warm, complemented by a generous serving of butter that added an extra layer of richness. He also indulged in the baked broccoli cheesy, and the verdict was a thumbs up (even with us being lactose intols), The cheesy goodness combined with the baked broccoli created a dish that was both comforting and satisfying. It's evident that attention to detail and quality ingredients were key components of this dish.
As for my choice of the grilled chicken and broccoli, it was a palate-pleasing experience. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, while the broccoli provided a healthy and flavorful side. I've ordered the grilled salmon before here and it's been overbaked. The overall balance of the dish made it a satisfying option for those looking for a lighter yet satisfying meal.
Reflecting on the entire dining experience, the service was prompt, and the restaurant maintained a clean and inviting atmosphere. One notable detail was the swift arrival of the food, ensuring that we could savor our meals without unnecessary delays.
The combination of a warm and welcoming atmosphere, deliciously prepared dishes, and attentive service makes this restaurant a noteworthy choice. We left with happy tummies and memory, looking forward to returning in the future!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kevin J.Financial District, San Francisco, CA02459Apr 23, 20241 check-in
Sometimes it's nice going back to basics. Outback will never win a James Beard award but they serve a great steak at a good price. Started with a bowl of chili and followed up with a house salad. My entree was a 6oz filet, with sauté mushrooms. All said and done walked out after a good meal for $67, not bad. Restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

Tara is the BEST waitress (and the reason why I jumped on Yelp to write a review)!
Considering how busy the restaurant was on a Friday night, the wait times were appropriate & we left feeling satisfied that we chose Outback.
The blooming onion appetizer was decent & the Kingsland Steak and Shrimp was good.
But Tara was the reason why we might return again. She anticipated our needs (e.g. refilling our sauces, providing boxes without asking for them, and giving the kids in my family proper utensils and napkins).
Decent food & very attentive staff!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 4, 2023
I've been to this location a couple of times and the service sucked. It's tough here on the weekends since it gets so busy, but this time was better. Came here on a weekday night this time and the difference is night and day let me tell you. The customer service is better. We had Orion. He's very attentive and gets the jobs done! Give this man some praise. The food was served timely in the beginning with appetizer and bread. The ambiance is very casual. I'll only return here once and a while.

Hello Outback Steakhouse Manager,
I recently dined at your Daly City, CA location and wanted to express my satisfaction. The rib eye was incredibly delicious and tender, and the service was excellent. Another excellent steakhouse salad. I gave it four stars because it wasn't seasoned as well as it usually is. Otherwise, the salad was very good and the service was too.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 3, 2022Previous reviewI've been to this Outback a couple of times in the past month and was very pleased with my meals. The first time, I had the Victoria Filet, a nine ounce version, and it was prepared perfectly as requested, medium rare. The baked potato was loaded and delicious.
On this visit, I tried the steakhouse salad, which comes with a small sirloin sliced and placed on top of the salad. It was prepared medium rare and was perfectly done too. The salad had excellent ingredients, including pecans, blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes and lettuce. The dressing wasn't too heavy and the steak tasted very good, with a good level of spices.
I also like their Rewards Program, as after three visits, I can get 1/2 off my next meal or $20.Apr 9, 2019Previous reviewOutback has finally resolved its parking problem, apparently by prohibiting people who aren't customers from using the parking lot.
So, I'm back to being a fan of their restaurant, as they are usually fairly consistent and the food is good. Today I had the 6 oz sirloin for lunch, along with broccoli and a new premium side, mashed sweet potatoes with candied pecans and cinnamon. The steak was prepared as requested and the new side was very good.
Service was also very good.Mar 31, 2017Previous reviewThis is for the lack of parking. Get control of your parking lot and quit letting anyone who is not a Customer use it. Came at 11 am and lot is full of people from 24 HR Fitness and other businesses. Outback was almost empty so it definitely wasn't due to their customers. This is getting old and I'm not coming back if I have to spend 20 minutes looking for parking.
May 30, 2016Previous reviewI like Outback Steakhouse. Their steaks are typically cooked as requested and if not, send it back. They are always tender and delicious.
I went there for lunch on my most recent visit and had the tortilla soup for the first time. I thought it was very good with the perfect blend of spices. The wedge salad was unusually large with plenty of toppings.
We had the chicken sandwich and the fish tacos for our meal. The sandwich was very good and large. The fish tacos had mahi mahi with crispy slaw and an herb aioli. They were very large tacos with plenty of fish.
Service was excellent.
