Not sure we would drive out of our way to go here, but it's a nice neighborhood/nearby option for us for when we're feeling like a convenient dinner. I enjoy it! Usually will get a sirloin with mashed potatoes, and a salad. Just tried the wedge salad side (which I think is new) and it was good. The steak has a seasoning crust of some sort which might not be everyone's jam, but I like it. Just have to make sure to drink a lot of water afterwards (it's salty). The free brown bread and butter is good. Usually will get wine with dinner but have recently tried their margarita which was not bad! Not too sweet. We're always able to get a table walk-in without a wait.

Poorly managed - bad service.
Walked in and sat a booth at bar - waited 15 minutes and left after no service.
Remind me never to go back to this location.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I go here often as a solo diner at the bar. The food is more or less what you'd expect at a chain but the service is par excellence! I have never experienced a more welcoming and friendly staff. They remember my name, my rewards number, they treat me so kindly. This seems to lend to a communal atmosphere among fellow diners. I have had many a wonderful conversation there and I cannot stress enough how wonderful the bar staff is!

Weekday visit. Sat at the bar as it would have been a wait for a table. The host said that there was only one server on the floor. Oy
The bartender was happy to greet us and quick with a drink. We had to send back the grilled chicken as it was coated in blackened seasoning without mention of it in the menu description. We know for next time to ask for only half seasoning for this plate. Solid dish otherwise. They fixed it promptly and it was an enjoyable visit.
The bar is drafty. The vents blow right on you so be prepared. The food here is consistent. You know what you'll get and how much you'll spend and we can appreciate that.
Plenty of parking, take away and curbside service available too. Online ordering and weekly specials are also a bonus. The bloomin onion is still choice appetizer but don't skip the coconut shrimp. I do wish they still had the steak and shrimp skewers. Those were amazing.
Chocolate thunder is an excellent chocolate option for dessert, large enough for 4 to share for a sweet finish.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Apr 23, 2012Previous reviewIf you call ahead on a weekend and manage to get through to get your name on the list, you are so far ahead of the game - when planning to eat at this Outback. They are always busy on the weekends.
This Saturday night happened to be Prom for an area high school. Thankfully, the restaurant has the forethought to group all the prom-goers in one section.
Our server was sweet but couldn't remember to get our orders right to save her life. The food was good, but the place was loud but we weren't too tweeked by the end of dinner.
Good value, fast from order to service, and it was good.

Well, it's been awhile since I've been to Outback. I thought it would a nice night out but I was wrong. First, no silverware and even when they brought the food they still neglected the silverware. Asked for a refill and it took FOREVER. Then they had to "ring it in" so it took even longer. I would have been more understanding if it was busy but my server had 4 tables. I must admit however that the food was good, hot and out quickly. I'll be staying with Texas Roadhouse for the win.

Normally, Outback is okay. It's not great, but it's not bad for the price.
Not tonight. I understand worker shortages, but it wasn't that busy. It took forever to get drinks. We never did get bread for the table. Of the six meals, two were incorrect. The steaks were okay. Doneness was good, but they were so heavily peppered that one person had a hard time eating it. The asparagus was so overcooked that it was mush. The carrots were so undercooked that they were nearly raw. One person ordered strawberry lemonade, which they got. But, when they asked for a refill, they got regular lemonade. My son ordered chocolate ice cream; they brought vanilla.
Nothing was terribly wrong, but everything added up it was not a good experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Chili was cold as was my baked potato. Service was lacking, I asked for sour cream with my chili and it was not brought out with my food. Server asked if I would like a water refill and I replied yes but she never refilled my water. The servers were never around and rarely checked on the tables that were seated in the restaurant.

We went to Outback tonight. We both ordered 6 oz Sirloins. I added a salad and a baked sweet potato. My dinner partner ordered a salad and a baked potato. The salad was delivered first. We had to request silverware. There was too much dressing. The steak arrived. Mine was medium well, Lisa's well. Each was cooked as requested. However, the exterior of the steak was charred. And, apparently, they use a spice mixture that makes the steak spicy. I did not enjoy it at all. The sweet potato was loaded with butter and brown sugar. Too sweet. I was not pleased with my meal. Lisa enjoyed the spicy steak. I f I ever return, I will request no spices on my steak.

I used to love this place, been going here a long long time. Sadly, its gone downhill in my last few visits.
Ok, they got rid of the wedge, their best item. And don't seem to have the steak/lobster special anymore, I've learned to live with these.
Last visit...
Had the ribeye, was great. But the mushroom recipe is changed, rather than in a broth they come in a slimey sauce now. Not for the better. The mushroom old recipe was one of the best items here. The brussels were burned so bad they tasted like campfire ashes. And had some kind of cheese wiz stuff on top. Sorry but I have to use the word gross. I complained so the waitress gracefully gave me another order of brussels to take home as compensation. But it had the same problem as the first order. I hate to give bad ratings, but I hope management is reading this feedback and can improve as possible.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

[Editing this to note that the man who introduced himself as the owner in the review below is clearly not the "Amy F" commenting here as the owner. I'm not sure if he was just a manager who was trying to prop himself up or a co-owner, but it's worth noting that the dude might not be fully representative of the restaurant's entire ownership].
Restaurants make mistakes with orders. That's perfectly fine. Restaurants take long occasionally. Also fine. It's hard to keep full staffs these days. What isn't fine is an owner who responds to multiple delays and mistakes adding up by, uh... Arguing with and insulting the customer.
Long story short, we had an experience that resulted in three members of our party being finished with our long awaited food before the last of us even received what he ordered. We then got openly antagonized by the owner for (actually quite calmly at this point) bringing up that it negatively impacted the experience.
Up to this point they had forgotten an appetizer, delivered a cold soup, forgotten about refills several times, and just generally disappeared for long periods of times. Then when the food finally came, a steak ordered well-done was pink as a rose petal, so it got sent back to re-heat. This process took 20 minutes! In the meantime, the rest of us obviously started eating after waiting to see if it's be out. A couple minutes after the rest of us were done (nobody had come by since we got our food, again, 20 minutes prior). We did ask for the steak to be taken off the bill at this point, which is when the owner came over and bizarrely accused us of lying about how the the steak was ordered. I think his exact words were "well I'm looking at the order sheet right here and it's clearly medium, so I don't know what to tell you." After the rest of us were like "yo, no. We all heard him order it" he made a hilarious pivot to some weird notion that we didn't get verbal affirmation of the color the steak would be from the waitress so it was an invalid order or something. It was a pretty crazy and surreal scene. I was genuinely curious to see where it would go at this point (I remained only an observer until towards the end).
Regardless, the owner finally said something like "well, I'll take the steak off if it's such a big deal." My dad, the steak orderer in question, said "so not the meal, just the steak?" (Clearly a bit surprised given the experience, but not really antagonistically. More matter of fact. At least from my perspective) to which the owner started laughing, said "are you serious? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." Which legitimately left us speechless, I'll give it that. He also bolted right after saying it, which was funny. But I've seriously never seen a restaurant owner care so little about the service they provide that this is their response to the situation.
I'll play the other side for a second: my dad claims he meant *his* meal. I.e. his steak, drink (free refill Diet Coke... not 3 $14 cocktails or anything), soup. Live, I definitely took it as OUR meal, as in everything. Of course, the owner could have, ya know, inquired instead of mocking us and bolting. But he didn't, which was probably the third straight customer diffusion point that he failed so badly that it probably made any late CX folk roll over in their graves.
We asked to speak to him again, mostly to address how massively inappropriate we felt that remark was, because we felt it was absurd to drop that bomb and then zip off, and to note that we fully intended on continuing the 20+ year tradition we had of visiting on Father's Day *despite* the service, as I noted above, stuff happens, but that the way they treated us in response ended that completely.
My steak was solid and cooked as requested. It was nice and spicy actually. I think they have a new seasoning recipe and it's *chef's kiss.* We'll probably stick with Outback for Father's Day, just obviously not this one.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
