I tried to transfer my healthcare to OSF, as I moved. After 6weeks of being run around by the sadistic Dr Haroun Ogen, the ER and OSF admin, I was told to go home and die. Not to come back unto death. I wish I had read these reviews before going there, it would have saved my life.

They allow elderly patients to live with unbearable pain awaiting surgery. For 2 months a 70 plus year old man must stay up right and walking to find even a little relief from his pain. while taking everything narcotic they can throw at him that never even touch the edge of his pain. Shameful

Worked here for two years, worst employment experience I've had. The first few months were okay, but as an office they're very strict and are more focused on productivity and enforcement of policy rather than employee health or well-being -- ironic for a hospital.

Also was under paid under the reasoning of "being a student." Everyone else was being paid $10.00 an hour per company minimum wage (which is now $12.00); I was being paid $8.25 with another intern though we did the same amount of work and were trained to the same degree.

Found four cockroaches in my time here. Two near my cubicle, and two more just in the halls. Most employees here were unhealthily overweight -- again, ironic for a hospital -- that we had to hold routine "health seminars."

Working here worsened my depression at the time, I dreaded even thinking of coming to work here. The other intern and I both agreed working here was a decent first job, and looks well on a resume, but would never work here if given the option.

Absolutely an abortion of an organization in that they should have never been born, and just go away. btw-I am pro-life except for these extremely lazy bums. I overpaid for a hospital visit by 200 dollars, 2 months ago. on April 26th, they said everything was fine and dandy. Today is 6/24th, almost 2 months down the road, and nearly a 100 phone calls later. Each time 'the ladies' are very nice to you, but they lie, and don't do anything that they promised. I have called OSF many times, and always that the 'Team' will look into it, and solve it, but just a BS line. The lazy bums never do anything that they say...however, if you are a few days past due, they don't mind sicking the collections agencies against you. A truly heartless organization without any soul...as they sold that a long time ago.

WORSE HOSPITAL EVER!!! You try to get the help you need and call to schedule an appointment with one of their psychiatrists or NP and they require a referral from one of their in house doctors even though your insurance doesn't require one. WHAT A MONEY MAKING SCHEME THIS IS!!

Worst treatment you could possibly imagine in the ER. Have been in waiting room 3hrs without any sign of being seen. Staff RUDE. INCONSIDERATE, CONDESCENDING, .People lying around like animals in a zoo. Avoid this place if at all possible. God Help Those here. There is something to be said that bigger doesn't mean better. What an embarrassment to Peoria.

      First to Review

Went in for a CPAP machine. I was welcomed when walked in and did not have to wait. He explained to me how the machine worked and everything was made simple for me to understand. Nice clean place and i was in and out in 45 mins. with filling out papers, trying machine on, and listening how the machine worked. This place was ran very well.
