Oro Express Mesa

I am not only a potential customer but an employee for the State of Arizona and I was hung up on twice today.

At work I called for Employee Verification and I was hung up on.

After my shift I called back and asked to speak with a manager and the call was again disconnected.

This is unprofessional and rude on all accounts. I do not recommend this store and will be sure to make it a point to mention my experience to everyone I interact with.

I will be posting this review on my personal Facebook, Google, and Yelp along with a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

This was today, March 6th at 12:50PM. I've also sent an email to the store email address Re: my experience.

Maria was awesome and took the time to get me the best price for my laptop . if y'all want good customer service go here .

My friend's wife passed away, he needed extra money. We took some of her jewelry to Oro Express and "GMO" was very knowledgeable, honest, and very professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks, GMO :-)

I just spent $12,000 on a new 85" 8K television and not a few days after it arrived, I was laid off due to Covid. I called Susann and told her about my situation, as I have never "Pawned" anything and I was desperate for some cash to make it through the Holidays. She was very friendly and educated me on the process. Her solution was a blessing. I was able to get a loan against my television that was the perfect amount and I can come back within 90 days and payback the loan plus a very small and fair interest rate. I rented a U-Haul truck because the television was almost 200lbs and in a Box. When I arrived the young man that was there, was all so willing to help me get this huge television out of the u-haul. I wanna say his name was Josh? Any way, he was also extremely friendly and knew more about this TV than I did. These 2 great people were so friendly, I ended up staying about an hour just to enjoy their conversation. Susann was very quick in doing the paperwork and handed me the cash. While I was there, I spotted and Old School Fender Steve Severson "Woody" acoustic Guitar that is one of a kind. I ended up getting an amazing deal and walked with my new guitar and plenty of cash! God Bless you guys and keep you safe! Best New Experience I have ever had! Will definitely be back for my TV and maybe some of their high quality jewelry when I'm gainfully employed again!! I've had waaaay too much experience with pawning, I don't think there's a pawn or antique shop in the valley that I haven't sold or pawned with. Oro Mesa is my GO TO, I can't believe that I wasted so much time and money at other places. Ray, the manager, and GMO, a professional in the industry, are THE best! I have NEVER seen customer service anywhere else that's this respectful, honest, and reliable. Even though they're part of the Oro brand they're NOTHING like the other locations. They have different rules, they actually care about the person walking through their door instead of the items?!?! Their priority is honesty between them and the customers, they're more likely to pay out more each time you come. I needed money in a last minute situation and all I had on me was my $1000 2 in 1 laptop and charger. My problem was the trackpad wasn't working but it was touchscreen so I figured it was still pawnable.... I spent ALL day going city to city and shop to shop. Most stores wouldn't even look at it if it wasn't already at %100, nor let me charge it there. Cause the trackpad issue and the serial number being scratched off (even though I had used a label maker to print out the serial #) I almost went home empty handed. I called this location and even over the phone he answered EVERY question, especially ones that other shops would avoid or lie about. I went in and they tried EVERY option and possibility till they found a solution. I don't know a single pawn shop or even business/ company that would have done anything GMO and Ray did!!

The gentleman was really nice & accommodating. But I needed to pawn something for just a day..they barely even had my item for 24 hours & they charged me 31% interest charge. I just thought it was too much of an interest charge for one day & I'll definitely be going somewhere next time.

Hi folks out there in Mesa, Phoenix area. Was just online with Alphonso. I metal detect for a hobby and have some scrap gold for sale. I did my homework on the gold value , or today's spot price and calculated what my gold is worth. After Talking to Al, the price I was quoted to sell my scrap gold was more then fair. I was elated !!! So happy that honesty and good business really does exist. Guess what? I't took only seconds for a quote !!!! Believe me don't waste your time haggling. Oro is # 1 in my book.
