Had to come back in today and grab a couple things. Some Superthrive, some Panda paper and a PH tester. This is my go to hydro store. They ALWAYS have what I need, if not instock, ready to order, and the people working here are always knowledgeable about the products they sell.
I would recomend ANYONE here if you need ANY supplies for growing hydroponically or in soil. No matter what plant it is. Two thumbs stay up for you guys. Thanks again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Aug 15, 2010Previous reviewThis buisiness is closed, another person bought the place and its now listed under a slightly different name.

First of all, it was formerly known as Precision Hydroponics, but its under new ownership, which isnt a bad thing for once. Its pretty much business as usual. Still amazing customer service, great place, and awesome pricing.
I came in to buy a couple specific items, but wasnt sure if they were going to have them. They had two things I needed, but I had to order another. Thats fine by me. I walked outta here having spent less than 60 bucks, more informed, and feeling damn good.
I picked up some Fox Farms Tiger Bloom, which I dont really need YET, but Id rather be prepared. Great price, on it. It was cheaper than the competitors products, but also came with an amazing reputation.
I also picked up some Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. I was told to specifically get this stuff because of all the plant food that comes in it. It keeps things regulated so that I dont have to.
I also ordered my 3000 kelvin lights for when I got into flowering stage. They had to order them through Hydrofarms because they didnt carry them in the store. I knew this ahead of time, and was totally cool with it.
The chick that helped me was far more knowledgeable than both I expected her to be, but even more knowledgeable than I am on any growing subject. haha. Id give her two thumbs up, but she was REREADING Twilight...I wanted to throw peeps at her, but I didnt have any:(
Overall amazing shop thats well worth the 5 stars Ive given both times Ive gone. Thanks again Pro-cision Hydro! Ill be back.Apr 5, 2010Previous reviewI dropped by this little shop, which is a pain in the ass to find if youre not paying attention I might add, for a couple of bulbs for my medical garden, but I wasnt sure exactly which. I was immediately greeted by someone, and he told me, very politely, that he would be with me in just a second, when he was finished with his current customer and told me to look around. I was glad to see that they made sure to pay attention to anyone that walked in the door.
When he was done with his customer, he asked me if I needed help, and proceeded to answer the multitude of questions I had when it came to growing a plant. He explained to me all the different lights, ballasts and all the other gadgets that go along with the lights, as well as information on how to make sure that I would have plenty of airflow for the heat of the lights.
Like I said, I had originally gone here just for a lightbulb or two, but ended up get hooked up with a great deal on a full light setup. He had one that someone had recently returned, but worked. He plugged it in and showed me that it worked, and explained to me what I would need to know about the light. The price was awesome as well. When I got home, I googled the light setup that I had purchased, and it was 75% cheaper than anywhere else that I could find for the same one. Totally happy with that.
While he was ringing me up, he answered many other questions about nutrients that I should use, temps that the plants should be kept at. Made recommendations on organic pesticides that I could use to get rid of the spider mites that I already had on my plants.
Overall great place to go if youre new to any type of indoor growing, or just looking for the materials you need for growing. I would recomend it to anyone. - Ric Q.Milpitas, CA977Jan 17, 2018
Been coming here for years and always greeted by friendly staff. This place has really great service and pricing. They never try to oversell you and always give you free samples of new products to try out if you ask. They also have a ton of used equipment for cheap and will let me trade in used gear for credit towards upgrades. It's been like this for as long as I can remember. Highly recommend this little gem of a hydro shop.

Great service. 10% discount for becoming a member. Be advised the entrance is on Industrial, just around the corner. It looks closed from the Kennedy side.

These guys are the best, the owner is knowledgeable, and the associate named Chad is great! I can really rely on these guys to give me the best advice in the Bay Area. Chad walked me through all of the products that i had questions about and answered them to a T. I have continuous success every time i go in there for not only knowledge but products as well. They have a sprayer for bugs that is so awesome, the tank is about knee high and it is a hand held sprayer for mites and other pests, and it was only around $50! Best purchase and i recommend to anyone. Thanks a ton guys, your service keeps me coming back!!

I was calling hydroponics shops looking for t5ho strip lighting, reflectors, and heat mats and these guys were the most courteous of the 4 or 5 stores I called. There was no rush and my questions were answered thoroughly and in a friendly manner. They didn't have the reflectors I wanted but advised me against using them, saving me money when they could easily have just cashed in. Even after their advice they were more than willing to order the reflectors if I wanted them anyway. Customer service points there.
When I arrived at the store, it was smaller than I imagined but clean and everything was neatly arranged. Dan (I think? the guy with the metal) and I talked shop for a bit and I walked out with 2 new t5ho fixtures and a heat mat, exactly what I was looking for. The best part is I was inexplicably given a 10% discount on each of the lights and a whopping 20% discount on the heat mat. That's almost $20 in my pocket! I wondered why the prices were a little under the quotes I got but I didn't realize it was due to the discounts. It's easy to say I'm more than happy with my purchase. I feel bad not thanking Dan for the discount so Pro-cision Hydroponix gets my first Yelp review.
Hands down, 5 stars.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jayson C.San Jose, CA2017533Jul 16, 2008First to Review
I've been here a few times and I've only met the owner. Cool guy who is really knowledgeable about hydroponics. If you have gardening/plant growing concerns, I'm sure Precision Hydroponics has something to help you.
The prices are fair and there is a good variety of fertilizer, potting supplies and equipment. The only down side is that it's location is in a small warehouse and it can get pretty cramped in there.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
