Everyone hates the dentist!!! I get it, but after putting it off so long, I finally ended up with a toothache!

I reluctantly called, and on a Friday afternoon, after calling so many other offices to get in ASAP, they happily said come on over! It literally was just like that.

So, A+ to my initial phone conversation, she put me at ease right away, saying I called the right place and just asked how long it would take me to get there so they could prepare for my arrival.

I was like "what?" Yeah, so before hanging up she informed me that they charge a flat fee of $150 to include any necessary xrays or other diagnostics and included the exam and would let me know what the problem is, how to fix and how much. I have insurance and since this was emergency, she said the cost is still the same but that they will bill insurance and I would get reimbursed ruses if covered. CANT BEAT THAT!

I was happy to just be able to be seen. After filling out paperwork, and btw the office is gorgeous and very inviting, I was told they have a full schedule but will work me in, I only waited 20 minutes, they took the X-ray, Dr Nina came right in and explained I have deep decay and need a root canal. But she also thoroughly explained why and then really actually took the time to get o know me! I was shocked, she is sooooo nice and calm and funny and I feel like she's my new best friend!

I was so relieved. Next they drew up the costs, got my prescriptions and availability with the specialists, which FYI they have all specialities there in ONE office so no referrals. They explained everything very clear and took the time to stop and ask for any questions.

All specialty procedures are paid up front and later I am reimbursed by insurance which I don't mind at all I need bonus fly points! They also offered no interest payment plans they a few different companies but I didn't need it but good they offered. I use the online dental price shopper and their prices are super reasonable!

Can I just say, they are so thorough and the focus is on me! So a big SUPER PLUS for me since I don't want any surprises.

I visited their office for an emergency extraction. It was prompt and the quality was good; no clinical issue and got good advises from the doctor.
My issue with them is related to billing; they did not honor insurance negotiated rates for the emergency. They basically charged me as if I walk through that and have no insurance, which turned out to be much more.

I don't usually write Yelp reviews but I'm going out of my way to write this one.

I got a cosmetic procedure done (teeth bonding) at this clinic 2 years ago by Dr Sharma. At the time, I went in asking for said procedure due to the chipped tooth..they said theyd want me to get a full mouth cleaning done before they did anything. I politely said no and they were willing to do the bonding anyway which was great. Twelve hours after the procedure I realized they hadn't smoothed out the back of my tooth.. I went in the next day to get it fixed..they fixed it. A year later the bonding literally just came off..the bonding I had gotten prior to that lasted 12 years.

I then came back to the clinic a year later with the chipped tooth and they said they won't fix it unless I get other procedures done first (cleaning etc). I could tell they were in it for the quick cash grab. I said no..and referenced the last time I got the bonding done where they didn't require a full clean. Their logic was "This would go against everything they've been taught in dental school". I said okay.. what about last time then? Their answer to that was muddled and wishy washy. I told them I'll just go to a different clinic. As I left the waiting room, they said they'd be willing to do it without the cleaning..but at this point I realized this clinic is just in it for the money.

I literally walked out of there and called a neighboring dental clinic.. went in.. and within 20 minutes I was out of that clinic with a new bonding that required no touch-ups.

Stay away from this clinic if you don't want a dentists who is just in it for the money and some extra billing.

Billing fraud, don't come here. You don't have to pay everything up front when you have insurance. They have so much open space in their calendar because they have no repeat customers.

They also call you relentlessly even after requesting to be put on a do not call list. Reporting their business for harassment at this point.

STAY AWAY! Dr. Nina Sharma is a fraudulent dentist who is committing billing fraud. If you have used her in the past please check your payments and insurance co pay as she makes all her patients (even within network) pay upfront (in our case the fees charged did not match the insurance co pays EVERY SINGLE TIME!)

Always a pleasant experience coming to OC dental specialist. All staff are wonderful!! The front lady (Lex sorry if I misspelled your name let me know haha) is the sweetest and funniest. Jessica is awesome and Dr. Raya (I think is her name) is awesome, too. Thanks everyone for making my dentist experience comfortable, pleasant and getting me in and out right on time!!! That's always a really good thing: ) until next time!!!

Nice clean place. Makes you feel like your at home. Wonderful and friendly staff. Tiffanie's the best dental hygienist. Highly recommended!

I had such a positive experience at this office - Dr Sharma did a great job of explaining treatment to me and put my mind at ease. The rest of the staff in the office is such a delight and always so welcoming. I would definitely recommend this office for any kind of dental care.

Here I am 8 months pregnant and put off a root canal for way to long landing me in the dentist office with a bad infection weeks away from giving birth. I am absolutely terrified of the dentist due to childhood trauma, i randomly found OC Dental Specialists one day prior as my tooth was throbbing. Going into that office today I was so scared not only that VERY pregnant. My experience was absolutely incredible. The staff and their professionalism was impeccable. They were all so very nice to me, made me feel so comfortable (I never knew I could feel comfortable at a dentist office) to the point I hugged them all after my procedure as I teared up because my experience was so wonderful. THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH! I highly recommend!!!

I recently had a dental emergency and called multiple dental offices for a same day appointment but I didn't have any luck until I contacted OC Dental Specialists. They were able to see me that day within the hour! Dr. Sharma and her team took very good care of me and I felt very much at ease there. We all know how much we dread visiting the dentist, but everyone made me feel welcomed and calm even though I was there for a dental emergency. I ended up deciding to switch my dental care over to OC Dental Specialists after this visit and will be returning for my bi-annual cleaning soon!
